Jason Adamson snatched up those nerves just as quick by being personable and not a swindler, as i've felt from other dealers I've visited. I appreciate the fact that Mr. Adamson was able to answer any and all questions I was prepared to ask. I'll tell you...you'll feel as though you've known this man for years. My overall experience at the dealership was 1st class and nothing below. Everyone was very pleasant, not a frown in site, helpful, and as a customer representative , it helps to see more of that when you arent so sure of the outcome. VERY ENCOURAGING!! THANK YOU MR. After about five years of doing this I asked a GM friend of mine at another Hyundai dealer about you all. Of course his stories were scary and meant to steer me away from you. Finally one Thursday in July on one of those trips I got brave and pulled in. OH MY G*D! For a Hyundai lover like my wife and I....this was not a visit but a RELIGIOUS EXPERIENCE!! Not only is the buying experience with Freddy-The Wizzard professional , respectful, knowledgeable and fun but, the thrill of asking to see it in another color combination OR same color different level and it happens! WOW! This is as opposed to ANY other Hyundai dealer who can maybe show you 3 or four cars…..boring and very sad. Your inventory is absolutely incredible. Eric was a master at putting us at ease and thoroughly professional and enjoyable at his task over in F&I. The people there from back to front of the house continue to amaze with their humanistic caring attitude. You all go WAY out of your way to SWEAT THE DETAILS! When any other dealer would say to bad...you signed...you own it....y'all break your backs doing cartwheels to assure that the customer is not only just happy (which would suffice anywhere else) but THRILLED to be there. It is truly a feeling of belonging to a fraternity. Fraternity of BRAD!! The jammed showroom and the hustle bustle…..that’s all part of your ambiance. Gotta love it!! Even though I entered great for the price I don't feel comfortable that I got a great deal. This was no reflection on Mr. Glover but on the closing manager. I could elaborate on the details but suffice it to say I won't feel comfortable speaking warm heartedly about my great deal at Brad Benson. I know a person who has leased vehicles in northern New Jersey and I will run this deal by him and form a final opinion then. More

Like many people that I know my wife and I do not like to deal with high-pressure sales people. That being said, this was not the place for us. However we had looked at a Hyundai at another dealer and they d deal with high-pressure sales people. That being said, this was not the place for us. However we had looked at a Hyundai at another dealer and they did not have the color we were interested in. We decided to go to Brad Benson because they have a large number of cars and we could at least see the color we were interested in. We did not have any plan to purchase the car at this dealership (25 miles from home) as we had a dealership 4 miles from home. As we pulled into the parking lot we were greeted by a salesman before we had a chance to get completely out of our car. As he took us inside he told us that he needed to make a copy of my license. He would also need the keys to my car so they could give us a price. We sat down and discussed what we were interested in. At this point the evaluation of my car was complete, but they never returned the keys. I found out later that the keys were in a back room. I guess they expect that everyone walking in the door is going to walk out with a new car and would not have a need for their old keys. We talked and talked and then the salesman came out with a one-page form for me to sign. It basically read that if price were not an object we would be willing to purchase a car from them that day. I have never made a quick decision on a purchase as I prefer to think it through before making a decision. As we had not been told the price of the car or the trade-in value of my 2009 Camry, I decided to initial the form. Following that procedure the salesman went to "talk to the manager" and he returned. He told me that they would give me $4000 as a trade-in. I had already been offered $9,000 and $10,750 by two other dealerships. This alone I felt was insulting and I was thinking about leaving at that point. Of course I still did not have the keys to my car. The price they "offered" was still $2,000 higher then what another dealer offered for the same car/same packages. When I told him that we were not satisfied and were leaving he came back with a sales manager. The manager said that he found it hard to believe that we would not accept their offer, especially since I had signed their form. He asked what we thought was a good price and my wife said "$15,000". He came back quickly with "Why not $10,000?" and my wife said "Sold". Needless to say he withdrew that comment. I did not like the fact that he put down other dealerships stating that what they say is their price and what you pay are two very different prices. There is a saying that applied here - You do not have to blow out someone else's candle to make your's burn brighter. It certainly applied here. The manager next told us that he would go $1000 below the best price we could get, but if we did not take that offer today it would only be $500 if we came back another day. Of course there was nothing in writing. This discussion went on for quite some time. Finally we got the point across that were not going to purchase a car that day and that we were leaving. Of course we had to ask for our keys so we could drive home. There are some things that this agency does not care to accept. "No" is certainly one of them. There is also the matter that price is not everything. It comes down to feeling comfortable in a situation - and we did not feel comfortable dealing with Brad Benson. The $1000 was immaterial to us. The manager told us to give the money to our grandchildren if we did not want it. First impressions are very important to me, and most people. I did not enjoy their tactics. We purchased the car from the local dealer where they treated us with respect. We never felt that way at Brad Benson. I realize that there is basically no chance of this being published. When I read over the reviews for Brad Benson I saw nothing but glowing reviews. I doubt very much if we are the first people to feel this way about the Brad Benson dealership. I have spoken to others and they feel the same way we do. There must be others out there. Did they bother to complete a review, or was their review "lost"? More
Unfortunately today's automotive buying experience for most prospective buyers has become a challenge, many customers come to a dealership extremely skeptical that they will be treated fairly. I don't doubt that this opinion is true of many dealerships however my experience with Brad Benson Hyundai does not apply. From the moment I meet Craig Glover I felt comfortable, there was no sales pitch, I spoke and he listened. After I explained my individual situation and what I expected Mr. Glover approached it professionally, he took all my information and did what was necessary to make it happen. It was a coordinated effort between me, Brad Benson's management team and Craig and I drove out of the dealership extremely happy with the exact vehicle I wanted. But the sale did not end there, Craig followed up several times to ensure that I was totally satisfied with my purchase and buying experience as well as offering to assist me with any questions I may have had regarding the operation or programming of my new Azera. As it turned out I did have one issue; when I took delivery it was during the evening hours and I failed to notice some very minor chips on one of my rims and quite frankly I fully expected resistance from Craig and Brad Benson to have the rim repaired. Much to my delight Craig immediately assured me that the rim would be repaired and took the necessary steps to have it done. I don't give testimonials easily or freely but my experience with Craig Glover and Brad Benson Hyundai was indeed a welcome change from some of my past experiences and I am pleased to recommend both the salesman and dealership to anyone that is seeking a Hyundai. I went in assuming I would barely be able to come out with a USED VEHICLE but to my surprise he got me into a BRAND NEW 2013 HYUNDAI ELANTRA I have to stay I was shocked and happy all at the same time. I could not believe how he made it happend but he did from the beginning he was blunt BUT in a professional way (due to my credit) but was very, very honest he is by far a very warm, welcoming, nice, and friendly person. He was very professional from the first time we spoke on th phone till the time I pulled in the lot and sat down with him to discuss numbers ... he was AWESOME!!!! He handled my situation with ease but ran around back and forth trying to make things happen for me, and kept me up to date with everything that was going on as far as trying to get me approved for a USED CAR especially from what I presented as a credit report (score) not good may I add but instead of a used car he got me in a NEW CAR! Again I just have to say Manning represented himself as an OUTSTANDING EMPLOYEE and represented Brad Benson to the fullest of expectations with respect, great professionalism, and as an honorable salesman of the dealer ship whom I would recommend everyone in my FAMILY TOO, AND MY FAMILY IS BIG!!!! Again I cant say enough he went ABOVE AND BEYOND MY EXPECTIONS great experience glad I got Mr. Galagarza as my salesman HE ROCKS!!! GIVE HIM A BIG BONUS BECAUSE HE KEPT A SMILE ON ME AND MY NIECE FACE THE WHOLE TIME... again that shows a level of respect and kindness and shows he genuinly wanted to help me during the buying experience.... especially if you really want to get a car and you are sitting in a dealer ship nervous because your really hoping something happens good and hope you roll off the lot with something, and yet your not a hundred percent sure if anything will happen at all ...but with Manning he kept me calm up to date with everything and I would send recommendations his way in a heart beat definitley go see Manning people!!!! And now my pretty baby sitting parked out side .... and I am smileing from ear to ear all thanks to Manning. PS .... I went to Brad Benson looking for a specific car within my monthly budget. I met with Graig Glover who gave me options on several cars that would keep me within my budget. He did not try to sell me something i could not offer and kept me interested at all times. I looked at Hyundai Elantra GT and fell in Love with the look, comfort and ride of the car. I wanted the car in white and Graig made sure he found me a white Elantra. Graig was patient, helpful, professional and a great salesman. For the first time in my many dealings with car dealers I felt like I was not being taken advantage of. GREAT JOB GRAIG GLOVER!!!! More
