For many of us, buying a car can be a time-consuming and often frustrating experience. And one becomes especially wary/paranoid when they see a lot of bad things written about a particular dealer. Well, often frustrating experience. And one becomes especially wary/paranoid when they see a lot of bad things written about a particular dealer. Well, I bought a new 2013 Hyundai Elantra earlier today from Brad Benson Hyundai and would like to tell you how pleasantly surprised I was with the entire experience. And no, in case you're thinking it, I do not work for the dealership nor do I know anybody who works there. I'm just a regular guy like many of you who wanted a great car at a fair price. And today I feel that I got a great car and a fair price. Let me start by telling you about the excellent salesman with whom I spent the majority of my visit: His name is Keith Horton. I was totally impressed not only with Keith's knowledge of the vehicle, but also by his calm demeanor, his eagerness to please the customer and his very easygoing personality. As I told him during our visit, there are many times when you walk into a dealership and the salesman's attitude/personality IMMEDIATELY turns you off. Well not Keith. I know I sound like a shill, but I'm being 100% truthful that Keith made a huge difference to me. I only buy a car every 8-12 years and I hate the entire process, but Keith was extremely friendly/outgoing, polite and also quite patient as he explained the car's features not only during the test drive, but again before my final drive-off. If I could give more than 5 stars to Keith, I would. I feel very fortunate that he was my salesman for today's purchase. I would also like to throw a compliment to Dave Testa (internet sales) since Dave was very forthcoming in providing me with an online quote for not only the vehicle I purchased today, but also for providing a quote last week on a base model Elantra that I decided against purchasing (since the car I purchased had a Preferred Package). I'd also like to compliment Rich and Richie in the Finance dept. Though I decided against purchasing any extended warranty (due to my belief in the quality of the Hyundai Elantra as well as my previous experience with car repairs being generally very good), I must admit they did an extremely thorough job explaining the various extended warranty options available. And though I'm sure they would have liked to sell an extended warranty to me, they respectfully accepted my difference of opinion about not wanting any. And I believe they deserve MY respect for that. Lastly, after Keith did one final run-down of the car's features with me before I drove off the lot, I had another manager (Ed) yell out to thank me for purchasing a car from their dealership. Though I did not conduct any business with Ed, I thought it was nice that he acknowledged my purchase. At that point, I decided to go back into the internet office to once again thank Dave Testa (my initial contact at the dealer) for his assistance and straightforwardness. Before leaving, Dave and Ed both politely asked if I wouldn't mind posting a positive review online for them since I told them my experience was nothing but positive. Ed made an extremely vadid comment to me: People who take the time to post reviews online are often those who have bad experiences; people who have good experiences generally don't bother to take the time to write positive reviews. Ed said that while they might sell 600 cars in a given month, there might be 6 people who feel their experience is less than satisfactory...and they are the ones who will take the time to post bad reviews everywhere online. So while 6 bad experiences out of 600 means that the other 594 experiences were probably pretty good, you'd come away feeling pretty good as the dealer. However, if none of those 594 satisfied people bother to write a review, you've got 6 bad reviews and 0 good reviews...and people who read the reviews get the impression that the dealer's no good. Well, I guess I'm atypical because I'm just as willing to point out stellar service as I am poor service. All I can say is this: MY personal car-buying experience at Brad Benson Hyundai today was excellent. All of the people with whom I dealt were friendly and professional. We had agreed upon a price for the vehicle as well as my trade-in in about 2 hours, but somewhat unfortunately I spent another 4 hours between getting my insurance switched over to the new vehicle (the dealer had them fax a temporary certificate of coverage), speaking with Finance about the payment terms and available extended warranties, swapping possessions from my trade-in to the new car, and waiting for them to clean up the car for me before I drove off. I wish those final 4 hours could have been a little bit shorter, but in the end it was worth it. I came away not only with a great new vehicle at a fair bottom-line price (inclusive of my trade-in value), but I also came away impressed with the professionalism of the staff with whom I dealt. I know there are a lot of bad reviews out there for many dealerships, including this one, but I want to tell the skeptics out there that based on my experience today, you CAN get a great car there, you CAN get a fair price, and you CAN get great service from the staff. I most definitely recommend this dealership. And I can't express enough how grateful I am for having KEITH HORTON as my salesman today. Top notch guy and a huge credit to this dealership. I hope those of you who took the time to read my review on Brad Benson Hyundai find it very informative, and best of luck to you in your car-buying process. More
When I arrived (4th of July Holiday) at the dealership I was paired with a salesman immediately. The fact that I didn't have to wait for help was greatly appreciated. My sales associate, Clem Mapp, was a regular down to earth good guy who didn't try to oversell the car I was interested in or try to steer me into something I didn't want. I was also happy with the complimentary BBQ that was on hand as I had my family with me and the day pushed into our lunch plans. All said I was able to drive out of there with the car I wanted with a better deal than I could have gotten anywhere else. More
Right off the bat my experience with this dealer started out wrong. They were advertising that if you bought a car you would get a check for $5,000. I called the dealer to find out how it worked and was t out wrong. They were advertising that if you bought a car you would get a check for $5,000. I called the dealer to find out how it worked and was told just buy a car and the money is yours. If I had know that I would be financing the money along with the price of the car I never would have drove out to this dealer, which is way out of the way for me. I would not and will not reccommend this dealer to anyone I know. The sales person was very nice, but he promised me the moon and couldn't deliver. When he was done the closer came out. He was extremely rude, telling me that if I give up my morning cup of coffee or my cigarettes I could afford the payment. His last statement was you need to work with me to get this car. At that point I said I was done and walked out. This is not the first time I have bought a car but it was definately the first time I have had such a bad experience. More

Manning was very helpful during the decision process and provided a wealth of information on the features/ benefits of the Sonata. I bought this car for my daughter, her first new car, and he made sure to spent the time with her to go over in detail the attributes of the vehicle. Sensing her age, he made sure to emphasize the features that he thought would fit her personality and demographic. He has followed up with both of us after the purchase, and is a true gentlemen. We wanted to pick up the car before the showroom opened and he arrived at work early to make sure to personally take care of us. I would recommend Manning and this dealership to anyone interested in buying a car. More

We traveled over an hour to get to your dealership and it was worth every mile. Keith Billups in finance even made the nerve wracking paper signing a pleasant experience!! Could you give lessons to the "other " dealerships for me!! With a humble thank you Kathy and Kevin Burke P.S. we love our new car! More
