This is the first time we have gone to this dealership for service. Our red light was on among other things. The car is a 1997 dodge caravan with 104,000 miles. I have a 2003 Jeep Liberty which I absolutely love. My Jeep has low mileage, and I keep up with regular maintenance. I wanted a number of items checked along with an oil change and my exhaust looked at since it was making noise and sounded like there was a hole somewhere. When I brought my Jeep in for service, I was pleased to see Richie at the service desk. I remembered him from a former dealership. I dropped my Jeep off the afternoon before my scheduled service date. The following morning Richie called to advise that I needed front brake pads but everything else looked good. The noise I heard from my exhaust was actually a crushed aluminum can that had somehow gotten stuck between the pipe and the sidewall! This was a pleasant surprise since I thought I would be told I needed a new exhaust system. Richie also told me that I didn't need to have my air filter changed since it was clean and appeared new. (I had it replaced during a previous oil change at another mechanic.) I appreciated Richie's honesty. The cost of all maintenance and repairs was reasonable and I will continue to have my Jeep serviced at Route 18 Auto. More
