I had a great experience buying my new Accord at Rt22 Honda. They went above and beyond to make sure I got the vehicle I wanted. I originally wanted a Civic Si sedan, but there are none to be found in th Honda. They went above and beyond to make sure I got the vehicle I wanted. I originally wanted a Civic Si sedan, but there are none to be found in the tri-state area. Furthermore, I changed my mind about the Civic sedan, as soon as I sat in their showroom one; the feel of it was not right for me. Then, I proceeded to fall in love with the Accord coupe, which was displayed in the showroom. Bottom line is, Honda's are great automobiles that last a VERY long time. If you are considering buying one, then Rt.22 Honda is the place to go. Everyone is very nice and helpful. It is quite evident that they pride themselves on customer satisfaction. I want to make you aware of my experience in your RT 22 Hillside, NJ Dealership. It started February 5, 2011, when I was browsing the Internet for the best deal on a new car. I have leased and purchase Hillside, NJ Dealership. It started February 5, 2011, when I was browsing the Internet for the best deal on a new car. I have leased and purchased several Honda over the past 15 years, and was interested in the CRV SE with all wheel drive. I saw an ad on the computer for one advertised for $189 a month with 1995 down, so I printed it out and submitted a web inquiry to the site. With in 10 minutes a person named Yellica from extension 298 at rt 22 Honda in. I explained to her my situation and that I had 4 payments left on my current accord lease. I also explained I was interested in a no money down lease for 36 months. She said she would speak with her Sales Mgr. and call me first thing Monday. I was thrilled I received such a quick response. Monday morning Yellica called and said she “had great news” that for 245 a month and can get the advertised vehicle with no money down, and Honda would take care of the old lease payments. I scheduled and appointment to go see Oscar the sales mgr. , but dealing with buying cars for years, I was still a little wary and was concerned about driving an hour to the lot and things “change” so I called her back to verify and she assured me this was the deal, and all I had to do was come in. My wife, my 3-year-old son, and myself, drove to the dealership excited we were going to get a new vehicle. So we arrive and the salesman comes over and takes information from us. We told him why we were there and what we were told. Oscar the sales manager then came over and welcomed us. The salesman told him the information and told us he would take care of everything. He ran credit, and made us sign a few papers and things were going smooth. The salesman said he was going to the lot to get the CRV. Ten, fifteen, twenty, Thirty, forty five minutes went buy and we saw and heard from no one. My wife and I were ready to leave, at this point very angry. The sales manager comes over and sits us down and said he apologized but the advertised car was covered in snow and stuck on the lot somewhere, this caused the extended wait. I would have understood if this was actually the truth, but was upset no one told us earlier. Then he told us it would now be $299 a month for a similar CRV he had available. When I asked why he said because “we”, meaning myself, have to pay the 4 months remaining on our current Honda lease and that was built in to the new price. I was upset at this point, and now my time was wasted I would not have visited the dealership and would have waited 4 months and then started shopping. I asked for his card and wanted to leave. He delayed giving me his card and asked what he could do. I told him give me the advertised car, at the advertised price, and take back my old Honda lease. He told me he couldn’t because he wouldn’t make any money. I told him this was not my problem. If the car is advertised for too low of a price, and he wasn’t going to get any commission that’s something he should take up with his boss. He refused to honor the deal that Yellica offered me. Not only do I have Yellica offering this deal on a voicemail she left, but also in an email. This is clear-cut case of false advertising and using the old bait and switch tactic. “The car is stuck in the lot” is an unacceptable reason not to be able to sell an advertised item. Also, the sales manager Oscar, acted as if he wasn’t even aware of the current offer on the website. He asked if he could copy the print out I had. This was either a poor attempt at deniability or a dealership with ill trained employees. I was so upset after this experience, I will be forced to boycott Honda altogether. More

I purchased my first 2 used cars from Correy and had the pleasure of purchasing my first ever brand new car with him as well. Correy is a very friendly and knowlegeable salesman. I don't think I have ever had such a good experience with a salesman ever in my life! I leased a 2010 honda accord lx from Correy. I told him what I wanted my payment be and he was very in toon with my needs. Correy told me what my options were and explained everything in detail as he went along with the process. I am very happy with my car. In addition, 4 of my family members have purchased cars from Correy. Correy is obviously a great asset to Rte 22 Honda. Great personality and great salesman!!!!!!!! More
