Thank you for taking the time to provide this important feedback. I did read you letter back a few weeks ago with great emabarrasment and anger. My family has owned this store for 35 years and we pride ourselves on being different from the rest. We have always gone by three simple rules: do the right thing, do it the best you can and treat others as you would want to be treated. In this case, you and I were let down by two self serving individuals. In a store of 100+ employees it is impossible for me to be everywhere at all time. (I often wish I could). We train, we meet, we discuss and still some people don't get it. My family shares the goal of lifetime owner loyalty. We realize it is people like you who pay our 100+ families paychecks. The indivuals involved have been disciplined, re-trained, reasoned with. I believe in second chances. We are reviewing the payplan to remove temptation to make such a stupid decision on a car deal. You should know in my discussion with Scott and Marlene in what should be done on you behalf we thought $100 service certifiacate might provide us another chance to prove that we are a dealership of individuals dedicated to treating people fairly and with respect. And that the individuals in service deserve a chance to earn and retain your business. I wanted the $100 to say we are not all about the money. It was not an attempt to buy your integrity or trust, I would be a fool to believe that possible. If you should change your mind and choose to give Mike, Marlene, Andrea, Jeff, Mark, Poppy, Brian a chance to prove their integrity in the service department our offer still stands. We (me particularly) are embarrased, ashamed and disturbed that certain individuals on our sales staff made such a crazy request. It is not necessary as I already purchased a vehicle from another dealer. I did not appreciate the "bait and switch" tactics by your sales team (starting with Kimberly) as it started on the internet with emails confirming price and options and ending with verbal denials at your dealership. I suggest you instruct your sales team to honor their quotes before they invite potential customers to your dealership so that this does not happen again.
