be interested in selling cars to suckers. I recognize that most dealers advertise one price and then hit you with dicey fees once it's time to settle on a price, but these guys take that to a new level. I went to see a car that was advertised for about 20K. After wasting a bunch of time listening to how tight the market is and how I don't know anything about car prices, and how much work had to be put into the car (which had less than 50K miles on it, so how much work could hit possibly have needed?), I was finally told I wouldn't be able to get a car like that for less than 28K, no matter where I went. I proved them wrong the next day and bought the same make and model (only in better shape and with fewer miles) for what I expected to pay, and what KBB, Edmunds, etc., estimated book value should be. Don't believe their nonsense. Shop around, do your homework, check book values, and be patient. This is a bait and gouge factory. Keep your distance.
