I recently had some work done on my vehicle that required a special part be ordered. I understand most dealerships dont stock all parts for cars so I was fine with this. The main reason that I decided to write a review on this dealership is because I was going to be without my car for a few days and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that Royal south had a ver reasonably priced rental car service in house. This made picking up my rental car and dropping it off when I was finished very smooth and hassle free. Thanks Royal! More
I visited Royal South Toyota for a check engine light on my Toyota Corolla. I dealt with Justin in their service department and he was extremely friendly. I informed them I was going to be late for a clas my Toyota Corolla. I dealt with Justin in their service department and he was extremely friendly. I informed them I was going to be late for a class and that I was on a tight schedule so they had their shuttle van take me to and pick me up from class while they ran some tests to see what was causing my check engine light to come on. This was overall a great experience and I would recommend them to anyone. More
The service department at this dealership is a real joke, had a part replaced on my Tacoma in 2008 regarding the seat belt airbag light in the dash. Was told the fix was going to cost 450.00. Had the truck r had a part replaced on my Tacoma in 2008 regarding the seat belt airbag light in the dash. Was told the fix was going to cost 450.00. Had the truck repaired and here in 2009 and 3000 miles later they want to replace the items again for another 450.00. The service department told me they were going to cover the cost with a warranty, they called my wife and told her the same thing, when I went to get the truck, the part was not installed and they had no intentions of fixing the truck untill I paid the 450.00. I get the impression the parts were never installed in the first fix, reason to believe a new part would last longer than 3000 miles. A really really bad taste in my mouth about this deaership and the service people (WINSLOW). Numerous trips to the dealership and phone calls to them to check on the truck and left the truck on the lot for a full week to get treated like this is not a way to run a business. More
