Mr. Dale Smith, My name is Harry Kraft and I am answering your concerns you expressed on DealerRater about your recent purchase, specifically the time frame surrounding the pay-off of your traded in vehicle. My research shows that your contracts were handed over to our accounting office on July 31st, were we encountered a back log due to an unusually high sales volume during the last days of the month. ( we are not trying to make excuses, but merely give you an explanation.) The pay-off check was sent to your lender via FedEx on August 9th, was received by the lender on Friday, August 10th and credited to your account on Monday, August 13th. We strive to get these transactions handled in a timely manner, but missed it in your case by one day. (receipt of Payment by lender.) Craig, why would I give you a second chance? I have never been treated this way by any car dealer in the past. If fact, I have never been treated like this in my life! This was the absolute worst treatment that a person could ever receive! A customer does have options. I have spent time thinking about what I could have done different. I keep coming back to the same answer. Nothing! I simply came to your place of business to look at buying a car. I believe the salesman’s telephone was more important than me.
