So the my experience with these people wasn’t bad going into the sale even though it was very brushed off and seemed not important and helpful prior to arriving to the dealership. When I arrived and walked into the sale even though it was very brushed off and seemed not important and helpful prior to arriving to the dealership. When I arrived and walked out to the car for a test drive there was an ever so slight scent in the car like very slightly so I asked Ethan if the previous owner was a smoker which he answered with a “no”. So I brushed off the smell as a cleaner from detailing the car or something like that. We moved forward and made the purchase where most everything went well after that was all settled. Ethan told me it would be just a moment and the car would be pulled around where I didn’t think much of that. And then the wait happened it took then about 45min to an hour after I made the purchase to get the car pulled around, and I was not to happy about that and was very irritated. I began my drive back home which was about a 3 1/2 - 4hr drive the car handled great and I was very happy with my purchase at first. And then I got home went to take off the hoodie I was wearing and smelled a stringer cigarette smell, (I do not smoke and neither does anyone in my house hold do so either). So I went back to the car and smelled a faint smokers smell coming from the inside. So I decided to give it a couple hours and went back to the car and really caught that smoke smell. Mind you this car is only a year old and is certified preowned I’m not to sure about what all goes into that but a person would think Mazda would hold that to a standard that a car that was previously smoked in wouldn’t be aloud to be in. I plan on currently doing some things that I read about getting that smell out this weekend when I get time and if that doesn’t work. I will be consulting the sales manager at the dealership I purchased the car from as well as corporate Mazda to resolve this issue. I’m not looking to get a new car or anything like that but I am looking to Russ Darrow Mazda and Mazda to make this issue right. More

Shawn was very polite and helpful. This was my 1st service at Russ Darrow. I was no familiar with how checking in worked and had got there a few minutes earlier I was the 1st customer This was my 1st service at Russ Darrow. I was no familiar with how checking in worked and had got there a few minutes earlier I was the 1st customer of the day and the Service Dept. Was not open yet. Shawn opened the door and greeted me with a smile and good morning. The service technician was also in the bay when I got out my car and also smiled. Shawn took me to the counter and got my information entered into the system, explained to me that I will would be receiving emails during my wait and to review them as they came in. I was very impressed with how they video the safety check and forward it to you while you're there , the service was quick and I was very satisfied with the process. If I have to say anything that I feel could be improved I'd have to say even through I appreciate a car wash I was disappointed that the interior was not touched, no vacuum, no window wipe down and I am not sure if they used a paper mat while servicing my vehicle and removed it before I got back in it but there was any however the large hanging paper number tag was left behind. More
