Higher end dealerships bend over backwards to ensure that the customer is comfortable. By first impressions this is not a high end dealership. Interior aesthetics were severely lacking as was the hospitality. The outside was not maintained either. When I took my husband outside to show him the vehicle I slipped and fell in the ice. When we went back in my husband mentioned what happened and no one inquired as to how I was. This lack of concern was shocking. Especially with the liability that the business could have incurred. I then inquired where the vending machines were thinking that at some point in the process I would be offered a water/soda. I was never offered one and was directed to the vending machines where I paid $1.60 for my soda!! By this time we were well into the purchasing process with credit checks completed, cash exchanged and signing of papers. When a customer is purchasing a $40,000+ vehicle one would at least expect to be offered a bottle of water! Definitely another sign of not being a high end dealership. What was the most upsetting was the treatment that I received after the purchase. My husband and I came back a few hours later to pick-up the car. Our salesperson took us out to the car to go over the amenities of the car (all of which took 10 minutes). When she was finished she asked if we had any questions. I asked her where the button in the back was to open and close the lift gate. She showed me earlier that day but I couldn’t see where she was pressing. I knew that is was on the left hand side but not exactly where the button was. With 3 children this was probably one of the most important features of the car. She responded with “I already showed you that-remember?” In a very indignant tone. I was so embarrassed that I didn’t ask anymore questions and ended the conversation quickly. I never found out where the lift gate button was. I would really have to think about referring anyone to this dealership. More
