I recommend salesperson Alejandro Soto I went to the dealer expecting to buy a new 2017 Mazda3 and left with a 2018, thanks to Alejandro's patience. I never felt that he was pushing me in I went to the dealer expecting to buy a new 2017 Mazda3 and left with a 2018, thanks to Alejandro's patience. I never felt that he was pushing me in any particular direction. He apologized for my not being notified that the car I had come to see and purchase was already sold, even though he wasn't the one responsible for that. He offered to show me other lightly used vehicles. When the hatchback we drove didn't compare to the Mazda3 sedan or have features I wanted that are in the newer vehicles, we pivoted back to a new vehicle and test-drove the 2018. He suggested we see if we could come to a price acceptable to me on the 2018. He was upfront about the invoice price of the car and all the added charges, bringing it down to a bottomline price. There were a few wrinkles in the negotiations and he waited quietly and patiently while I wrapped my head around those, answering questions as fully as he could. Then after the paperwork went through, long after the salesroom had closed for the evening, he sat with me in the new car and helped me get the car's bluetooth connected to my phone, and went over pertinent features of the console so I could have a safe drive home in the dark! I don't give the dealership five stars because I didn't appreciate having the $3000 protection package included in the negotiation without being asked whether I wanted it (which I did not.) It complicated the negotiations and left me wondering whether I was being played. However, upon reflection, I feel that I got a fair price on the car and am very happy driving it. And I will recommend Alejandro to anyone I know considering a Mazda. More
