Dealer has worked to correct the actions since review About 2-3 months ago I was at the dealership to replace my infotainment unit as it was cracked and glitching out. At the same time my vehicle was due About 2-3 months ago I was at the dealership to replace my infotainment unit as it was cracked and glitching out. At the same time my vehicle was due for some brake repairs. They performed the infotainment swap well, but the brakes the technician thought he could grind down and re use my rotors which turned into a second trip and missing a vehicle for three days. The dealership did well to make this trip and downtime better by no charging the labor for the second brake work, however it was still a 60 mile round trip to get work done through a Mazda dealership. The larger issue I have had since that service is that Mazda released a service letter that the infotainment unit had a defect that caused moisture to get inside the unit and cause the cracking and glitches I experiences. After 4 calls to dealership I finally got someone that said they would have the service report and copy of receipt showing that the work was paid for. I spent the time and fuel to drive down only to find that nothing was ready for me and nothing was known. Why they cannot email these things is beyond me in today's age, but especially for warranty letters to get reimbursement I would expect a dealership to be able to produce the documentation to help customers get warranty coverage. Very disappointed in this experience and no trust in the dealership on the service side of things. The Mazda vehicle has been a overall great vehicle for me otherwise.
