Over priced and long wait I have owned my Optima since 2012 and have it serviced exclusively at Kia. We are new to the area and this was my first and last visit. My bill for an oil change, tire repair (patch) and 2 light bulbs was 90.00. The tire repair was 25.00 alone. Who charges that xxxx much for a repair?!?!?! Also, I have NEVER been charged a disposal fee in addition to the price of the oil change, Kia dealerships in GA include that. The service tech was nice, but it does not justify my coming back and spending that kind of money. The customer service I have received at the GA dealership in the past had been phenomenal and it may just be worth it to make the drive back for my maintenance. Customer service at a great value will earn my business and you failed at both. More
False pricing claims I called the dealership a few days in advance to schedule the service. The woman on the phone quoted 2 prices to me. One with oil change, tire rotatio I called the dealership a few days in advance to schedule the service. The woman on the phone quoted 2 prices to me. One with oil change, tire rotation, and fuel additive which I didn’t pay attention to because I didn’t want the extra additive. She then said without the additive it was $39.99. That’s what I said I wanted. When we got to the dealership, I had to walk into the garage to get someone to explain to me what was going to happen because it was our first time getting the oil changed there. The service manager confirmed that I wanted the oil changed and tire rotation, but did not confirm pricing. After all is done almost 2 hours later, and not getting my free car wash because the detail department was ”backed up” he tells me the total is $70. When I said that wasn’t what I was quoted, he stated that the phone person was new and quoted me a coupon rate, and he could not honor the rate unless I had a coupon with me. (Note: there is a coupon for this price that I found online after getting home which he did not inform me about) he then said all he could do was charge me the full $70 and make a note to do both services for $39.99 next time. My biggest issue is that I was misquoted a price by almost $20 before tax and nothing was done to correct it THIS visit. He acted as if there was nothing he could do when he simply had to state that there was a coupon online and that would have fixed the issue. Also, around 5pm that same afternoon, he called me and said his drawer was short the exact amount of my transaction (which would have been anyone who got those 2 standard services done that day total as well) and asked me to confirm that the transaction was showing pending on my statement. Then asked if I had the merchant copy of the receipt and to call them back if I did. I called back less than 5 minutes later and he would not answer the call, so I left my name and number. It has been 2 full days since then, and he still has not returned my call. Overall, very poor communication, false pricing, and poor customer service and professionalism. If I didn’t have to get my oil changed there to keep my warranty, I would not go back. More
