I am under their maintenance plan and I took my car in for the first time to do a routine check. I went in with a light lit up on my dashboard thinking it was due to service needing to be done. When I got for the first time to do a routine check. I went in with a light lit up on my dashboard thinking it was due to service needing to be done. When I got my car back, I noticed the light was still on. I asked Rene the guy who serviced my car why the light was still on and he said that’s the check engine light and I had to make another appointment for that. He told me to talk to front desk to schedule an appointment. The lady told me I had to make a phone call because she doesn’t schedule engine appointments. I called and they said they were 30 people behind and couldn’t make appointments at Rydell so I have to make an appointment with another Chevy service department. I went to Keyes and they need a week to run the diagnostic and I had to leave my car. They couldn’t give me a rental because the diagnostic isn’t done and they said it is a GM protocol. I asked if I could just bring my car back instead of having it sit there. They said I couldn’t because it’s in queue and if I took it I would lose my place. I had to call GM and speak with management in order to get a rental. I purchased my car May 2023. I haven’t even had it a year. It was ridiculous that I had to run around and figure everything out when Rydell should have had this problem fixed when I brought in my car. I was not impressed by their customer service. I’ve never experienced this with other service plans with my other cars in the past. Very disappointing! More
