I had shopped for a new ford escape at another dealership and was very disappointed when I was ready to sign the deal, when the numbers all changed. We were researching used Ford Escape Hybrids and found one at Rye Ford Subaru that seemed to have everything we wanted. We called and spoke with a salesperson and asked if the car had leather and a moonr one at Rye Ford Subaru that seemed to have everything we wanted. We even confirmed that it was the same vehicle with the inventory number. He called back a few minutes later and indicated that the car did in fact have leather, a moonroof, and 45,000 miles. We indicated that we would drive there today, as we were very interested and would probably be buying it. We were told that the salesperson couldn't stay late and we had to go the next business day. We went over approximate trade-in amounts for our 2 potential vehicles and were given KBB trade-in values for them. We left early the next Monday morning and drive over 2 hours to the dealership. On the way, the salesperson called us twice to make sure we were still coming. Once we arrived, we were told that the vehicle was not even a hybrid. He indiciated that there was a hybrid there with 20,000 more miles on it for the same price. We agreed to test drive that one and we were interested in it. The manager, Anthony Gualdino, did an appraisal on our trade-in, a 2007 Camry LE V6, and told us it was "dirty" and he would only give us $7,000 for it, which is well under KBB value of $10-12,000. He indicated that he would be selling it at auction and that was the best he would do. The service here was atrocious. We left extremely unhappy and disappointed and we would not recommend this dealership to anyone. More

Very communicative via email and phone and actually set up a specific time and date for an appointment to test drive a car. I waited at the desk, looked at the display models in the showroom and even walked outside to look at the Mustang. I spent 25 minutes there and not once person even said hello. Ironically, I was called and emailed the following day asking if I wanted to set up another appointment, since I "did not show up" for my appointment. Needless to say, I bought my car elsewhere. Salesman did not know details of car. Upon entering my purchase vehicle, found it it did not have satellite radio like he promised. When I called manager to complain, he did not take responsibility and was rude to me calling me "just a college student," The dealership required certain papers for me to obtain my college rebate and each time I provided what they asked, they then added another stipulation. Went back to the registrar's office three times and Rye Ford told me I am "giving them a hard time". I would never go back to this dealer and know several friends who feel the same. I was greeted and worked directly with the Sales Manager Anthony Gualdino Ford and I have to say there is definitely a higher level of service there. Anthony and his staff is very knowledge of the product and made the transaction very smooth. I did pay a few dollars more than the other stores I visited but I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for. If your buying a Ford and live in Westchester County I would highly recommend Rye Ford. More
