I don't usually write reviews, but I was so pleased with the service I received when I had to take my car in for service, that I felt compelled to do so. This car dealership has tried not once, not twice, not three times, but four times to cheat me of my money. And has blatantly lied to me more than once. 1) I had typed in the code to my Saab radio thre three times, but four times to cheat me of my money. And has blatantly lied to me more than once. 1) I had typed in the code to my Saab radio three times, and now it had locked me out. So I asked them how to reset it (since I had lost my Saab manual). They said they would have to reprogram the whole radio, it would cost $123. I later found the button that you just hold down to reset it. 2) Now that I reset the radio, I needed my correct password. The password can be indentified by the serial code ontop of the radio. To see this code you must first eject the radio. I called them and asked if they could do this for me, a process that takes a few seconds with the right tools. Literally a few seconds. They said for the service they would charge $23. Okay. I ended up just sticking two metal hangars into the two holes of the radio and it popped right out. 3) Now with the serial code, I called the Sherman Oaks dealership. My home dealership in NJ would do it over the phone for me for free (as its just a matter of punching the serial code into the computer). Since the NJ dealership had closed, and I was out in CA, I decided to call Saab of Sherman Oaks. They told me I would have to come in to prove my identification. Fair enough. I go in, they told me they need to charge me for accessing the code. I told them no you don't, other dealerships would do it for free, but they closed an hour ago. With lots of attitude and resistance, they eventually looked up the code for me (took about 60 seconds). The code did not work. 4) I asked them if they could take a look at the radio since the code didn't work. By take a look I meant about 1 minute, just to check out what could be wrong. They said that it would cost $123 for any service per hour, and that they had already given me the code for free. (I went home, and eventually realized I had to wait 1 hour before trying the code again, and it worked) 5) So I refused obviously, and then the guy.. in his most blatant lie told me, "You're not going to find any other Saab dealers around, everyone else has gone out of business". Yeah, except for the ones in Beverly Hills, and Pasadena, to name a few. These guys are a bunch of xxxxxxxx, don't believe anything they tell you. They have consecutively lied to me four times, and tried to rip me off. Not one thing they said to me was honest or truthful, nor helpful. Luckily, I didn't pay a dime. And saved myself $123+$23+$123 at least. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOSE MONEY FOR BAD SERVICE. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE LIED TO AND CHEATED. They are complete complete complete xxxxxxxx. All 5 of these instances happened within 24 hours. More
