The experience was a little hectic due to the ongoing construction. I got the sense that everybody was doing their very best with a bad situation. This was a very mixed experience. The initial part of the process was frustrating and poorly handled. I was given a written commitment regarding my trade-in, provided the requested The initial part of the process was frustrating and poorly handled. I was given a written commitment regarding my trade-in, provided the requested documentation in advance, and then drove over an hour from Maryland with my wife and kids to complete the deal — only to be told in person that the documentation was suddenly “the wrong type” and the agreement would not be honored. That should have been caught before asking a customer to travel, and it caused a lot of unnecessary stress and wasted time. That said, once the situation was escalated, things improved significantly. The General Manager, JD, stepped in, took ownership of the situation, and made sure the deal was corrected and completed as originally agreed, with a reasonable concession for the inconvenience. I appreciate that he didn’t dismiss the issue and worked to resolve it properly. I also want to specifically call out the salesperson who worked with us both visits (unfortunately I don’t recall his name). He was consistently professional, helpful, and patient throughout, even when the situation was difficult. He made the experience noticeably better and was a pleasure to work with. Overall, this could have been a much better experience if the initial trade issue had been handled correctly. Credit is due to senior management for ultimately making things right, but the early breakdown prevents this from being a higher rating. More
