I contacted the dealership looking to make a deal on a specific Santa Fe, informing them exactly what I wanted and the price i was looking for Hector let me know that they wouldn't even sell me a lower model Santa Fe for the price point i wanted. Instead of asking questions or giving me options he just said we don't want your business and "we pass". Being the relative of someone who owns a dealership i receive significant rebates and had Hector asked the appropriate questions he could have made the deal and sale going into their step goal and made additional money through the manufacturer for just selling the unit. I took my business to Malloy Hyundai and was treated like a valued customer. More

Incompetent service department This is an amendment to my first review 1 years ago. The sales portion of my experience with Safford Hyundo was great but it stopped there. At 7K mile This is an amendment to my first review 1 years ago. The sales portion of my experience with Safford Hyundo was great but it stopped there. At 7K miles, I started having transmission and a rear suspension clunking issues with new 2017 Tucson SE. I visisted this dealership 4-5 times and always got the same answer - unable to duplicate problems. I did test drives with the mechanic and the shop Foreman and Service Manger also did their test drives and again, nothing found. The staff of the non-existent service department never called me to advise me on the status of my vehicle. I had to take time off work to go there to get partial answers. I left my new car at Safford Hyundai for extended periods and nothing was fixed. When I called Sales Manager Scott, he never called back. Service Manager Peter did call back but only after several calls from me and many days after. Fed-up of Safford Hyundai, I brought my car to Malloy Hyundai. Within a few hours, they had diagnosed my transmission issue as 2 solenoids and 1 wiring harness being defective in the transmission which were replaced. This fixed the transmission issue properly. All in all, I DO NOT recommend that you step foot in SAFFORD HYUNDAI, especilly if you have the intent of dealing with their sub-par service department. More

HORRIBLE & INSANE experience with Scott and Bryan, BAD SERVE Walk in on October 7, 2018, and we were welcome from the salesman at the time after a test drive a few Santa Fe SUV's we decide to purchase a model fr Walk in on October 7, 2018, and we were welcome from the salesman at the time after a test drive a few Santa Fe SUV's we decide to purchase a model from the showroom, before complete the purchase, we request and tow hitch to be install, and ask about interest rates. they quote us at 5% interest, and at the end, they sold us a 5.99% that was the first negative impact of our experience. Second, we were told by Bryan that the tow hitch will cost us about $250.00 and we don't have to worry about that, he promised and promised, make us believe that we will get a deal in tow hitch, later on, he either offer to us that he will try to get us an employee discount. LIE LIE LIE !!! after the purchase, on our way home, we find out that a tail light was not working, and told us to come back next day to get it to fix, and same time will discuss the tow hitch installation. we came back and got a quote for a tow hitch $1,180.00 (insane) another LIE LIE LIE he then, told me he will try to talk to parts, manager or whoever to get the price lower, NEVER HAPPEN, keep calling him to ask about it, till today 11/22/2018 he never calls back, his answering system is not set up yet, so unable to leave a message. call last time and they transferring my call to Scott, he was upset for a lower review left before and did not help at all, Scott, instead of help, he sends me to Uhaul to get a cheaper price, by saying that he can't lower price. After we purchased a $38,900.00 Santa Fe Sport 2.0T ultimate AWD, I think that a few dollars discount wouldn't hurt. this is the worse customer service we had ever received from a retailer, including from a manager. we'll definitely not recommend anyone to deal with this kind of people (absurd) If I had a chance to leave a negative stat feedback instead of 1 star, I would do it. Stafford Hyundai of Springfield does not need employees like them period! they need to find a job that fits them better, they can't treat a customer and offer customer satisfaction after a purchased. WE ARE NOT HAPPY AT ALL WITH THEIR SERVICE AND THE WAY THEY TREAT US. WORSE SERVICE EVER! Lastly, Called parts department and quote me the tow hitch for $449.00 plus tax, and service department quote $675.00 for installation, comparing with another reputation dealer at $399.00 (including parts and labor). I hope this will help many new buyers to understand the way they work, and to make sure to think about before they deal with them. (SCOTT VERY RUDE, AND BRYAN UNEXPERIENCED) Unfortunately there nothing I can do to return this car to them and buy it from someone that really need my business. I was told finance would give me a call to work out details for a car I was wanting to buy. I was never called, texted Josh several times two days after initially starting this deal, and was ignored. When I was finally contacted, he proceeded to tell me I have no idea how the banks work, and continued to talk down to me even when I told him I had my side in order to go forward with the deal. Bad experience, glad I don't work for them. More
