When I had questions or felt misinformed, he took more time to break down my questions to specifically answer them. I did have to be firm on what I felt I needed for extra services once I got inti the finance office because the pressure they applied was too much, but i still enjoy the new ride. More

45 days in the shop with no communication Worst customer service ever. I called Kia of Safford service department because my outside door handle snapped off, We are very gentle on our vehicles Worst customer service ever. I called Kia of Safford service department because my outside door handle snapped off, We are very gentle on our vehicles so I was surprised when this happened. My air conditioning was acting funky and I also had a faulty air pressure light. Simple fixes and all under warranty. Perfect! I get a call at work stating that there was a recall on my 2014 Kia Sorento engine and after testing it had failed so I would be getting my engine replaced. They also stated that I could go over to Enterprise and pick up a rental. Fair enough. I go to enterprise and they set me up in a nice rental, when I asked how long it was for they claimed one week. I figured that was standard and in a weeks time I would have my vehicle back anyway. I was never given an estimate or WARNING as to how long it would actually take. Fast forward two weeks. Not a single word from Kia. Specifically Rick in the service department who was handling this case. I called over to see how things were going and Rick informed me that the engine was on back order and there was no estimated date as to when it would arrive. Okay? I asked about my door handle and AC to which Rick replied that they haven’t even touched my Sorento because they would rather do all the work all at one time. After our phone call I thought about it for a moment and realized that MY vehicle which I’m paying insurance and car payment on has been sitting in a parking lot for two weeks completely untouched. I was unhappy. Long story short there were many more phone calls back and forth to Rick. Each time I called to check the status I was always told “I don’t know” and put on hold for at least 10 minutes. Finally I was given a date, July 24th the engine would be in and Rick ASSURED me it would only take one day to put it in and get the vehicle back to me. July 24th no call, 25th no call, 26th no call. I took it upon MYSELF to call Rick to figure out what the status of my Sorento was. He told me (with an attitude) the car would be done by tomorrow. I reminded him of his assurance of only taking one day to install, he got very defensive and RUDE and claimed they had to replace my fuel line (no one bothered to discuss with me) which is why it was taking longer. I understand the dealership is at mercy of the manufacturer but there was ZERO communication from Rick or any other service department representative. My car was in the shop for 45 days and I would have been non the wiser if I hadn’t had to call for my own updates. This whole process was so unnecessarily stressful, especially with me being 32 weeks pregnant and needing my vehicle to install car seats and making sure everything was prepared for the arrival of my child. I absolutely love my Kia Sorento and will more than Likely get another one when our other vehicle gives out. But I will NEVER again work with the Safford of Kia service department. Rick needs a good lesson in customer service and I’m sure the rest of the staff would benefit as well. More

Car broke down, they fixed it My car stopped running and I was 30 miles from home. I called ahead and let them know I was getting a tow in and to fit me in whenever the could. They were very pleasant on the phone and were able to look at my car the day it was towed. It took five days to fix because they had to order a part, but they gave me prices, timelines, and helped me get a rental car the day I dropped mine off. They called on the day they promised the car to be finished and I picked it up with no issue. I am extremely happy with the friendliness and professionalism of the service department and will be back again! More
