Excellent Service! ! Driving through Mount Dora on Saturday (we are not local) our GMC Sierra suddenly went into "limp mode", would not go faster than an idle, engine l ! Driving through Mount Dora on Saturday (we are not local) our GMC Sierra suddenly went into "limp mode", would not go faster than an idle, engine light on and stated "reduced acceleration /drive with care". Very scary situation. Called service dept just before 10am and spoke with Jack. He said they may not be able to fix anything before 1pm closing, but could hook to computer to check codes. Jack was helping multiple customers when we arrived sometime around 10:30. As soon as it was our turn he quickly used his device to scan for codes. A serious recall a month and a half ago that GMC never notified us of caused the Fuel Pump Power Control Module to fail. Before noon our truck was repaired and back on the road. My local GMC dealer does not even service on Saturdays. The GMC dealer I purchased from will only do services on Saturdays - any repairs or recalls must be SCHEDULED during the week. This was done for us in 1-1/2 hours with no appointment ON A SATURDAY. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!! I cannot express how much you saved our weekend! We will remember Sam Boswell GMC!
