Started with a covered head gasket repair, where they failed to replace spark plugs, messed up engine timing, etc. Weeks later the van was misfiring again and they tried to charge us to replace spark plu failed to replace spark plugs, messed up engine timing, etc. Weeks later the van was misfiring again and they tried to charge us to replace spark plugs while claiming one spark plug was wrong for the vehicle (the same one they noted was removed to scope the engine in the previous repair). Ended up replacing for “goodwill” when really it was an incompetent and faulty repair. Shortly after we took it back for the same issues and were told our engine cylinders were scored and that we needed a new engine. They will not work with us or admit their improper original head gasket repair—instead, they blame a previous repair by a different shop before we even purchased the van. If anything, that only further proves their incompetence and lack of professionalism: they literally looked inside the engine (via borescope) during their own repair, yet the catastrophic scoring and ruined engine only showed up after just ~3,000 miles of driving following their head gasket job. Any supposed prior issues didn’t cause problems until right after their work—clear evidence the damage traces back to their negligence. This engine damage likely stems directly from their failure to replace the spark plugs during the head gasket repair, especially given the coolant leakage. When a head gasket fails, coolant can leak into the cylinders, contaminating and fouling the spark plugs with residue that impairs their ability to ignite the fuel-air mixture properly. If those fouled plugs aren’t replaced as part of the repair (which is standard practice to ensure reliable combustion post-repair), it leads to persistent misfiring. Over time, misfiring causes incomplete combustion, allowing unburnt fuel to wash down the cylinder walls and strip away the protective oil film. This results in metal-on-metal contact, overheating, and scoring (deep scratches or grooves) on the cylinder walls—ultimately requiring a full engine replacement. Their botched timing adjustment only compounded the issue by further disrupting proper engine operation. More

After spending $95,000 on a new vehicle with them a few years ago, I am very disappointed in the poor service recently provided. I took my vehicle to Sam Lehman's service for detailing. They charged $350 years ago, I am very disappointed in the poor service recently provided. I took my vehicle to Sam Lehman's service for detailing. They charged $350. It appears they simply washed the exterior and vacuumed the floor mats. None of the inside of the vehicle was cleaned, nor the inside of the door, glass, etc. More like a $10 car wash and $5 vacuum. So very very disappointed. And worst the service person seemed clueless as to what detailing means. She took a few pictures but refused to provide a refund.
