My brand new Bronco needed transmission service within a week of me buying it. Things happen, and the defect wasn't Sames' fault. But the now week-long ordeal of trying to get the vehicle fixed is their res week of me buying it. Things happen, and the defect wasn't Sames' fault. It's been delay after delay, haphazard and incomplete communication and I've seen no evidence that they care one way or another when I get my new $40K plus vehicle back. I don't know if they are bad mechanics, bad managers, overbooked, so some combination of those. I presume I'll get my car back eventually and will go somewhere else for service in. the future. They did send me a gift of two brownies for buying a car from them, so at the moment each of those brownies cost me over $20,000. More

Although I did buy new to me truck, Sames has always been my go to for service. I always get scheduled in and get taken care of right away. The issue has been resolved for now at least, and I selected service as 'reason for visit' as sales did good job Sames Ford in Bastrop is run by awful people. Just last Saturday my 73 y/o wife paid $37000 cash for a new Bronco (likely the last car she'll ever buy), and it is already in for a problem! The service writer has already lied to us about the repair. As soon as the check cleared, suddenly they aren't friendly anymore. I am so tired of being taken advantage of. Grrrr. more details Until the check clears, they are the nicest people you ever meet. I did not even want to go there due to AWFUL experiences with their service department in the past, but my wife really wanted this car, so I reluctantly agreed to give them another chance. That was a big mistake. Strike 1, they pulled the old bait and switch on us, the car we saw on the website "just got sold" Bull Cookies! Strike 2, the car had to be returned for a problem the 2nd day we had it Strike 3, they want to argue with me about the safety issues with the auto stop start feature, and the they basically called a 73 y/o woman a liar. Out 1 Strike 4, someone in service lied to our salesman who told my wife the parts were on order. Today, 3 days later, it’s still yet to even be diagnosed. Strike 5, the lady who arranges the rental cars was very rude to my wife on the phone. She was so nice when I accompanied my wife up there today. Avoid this place like the plague. I’m stuck with them now, as I stated the check cleared already. More
