The process went smoothly thanks to Service Manger Jeremy Kleiger and Sales Consultant Scott Barker. Jeremy took care of my 2005 Jeep for 14 yrs. Jeremy knows what I like and dislike when it comes to my Jeep. When I arrived I saw a silver Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland sitting right up front. The moment I saw this Jeep I knew this was my next Jeep. When I walked inside the Dealership Scott Barker was waiting for me. Scott asked me if I wanted to see the Jeep Jeremy picked out for me. Absolutely! It was the silver Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland I saw as I drove into the Dealership. A test drive sealed the deal. I picked up my new Jeep the next day. Scott made sure my new Jeep was detailed and fueled up before I arrived. The process was so organized and effortless. Transitioning from a 2005 Jeep to a 2019 Jeep can be daunting unless you have Scott Barker as your trainer. I highly recommend the Sales and Service Dept. at San Diego Jeep. I had talked to other people in the finance department of other dealerships and have walked away irritated because they were rude, condescending or couldn't even remember my name! But not Andrew Ptacek. He was personable, informative, and so helpful. I did not feel the same kind of pressure to purchase a vehicle that I've felt at other places and that's very comforting. Andrew was very efficient by not making me wait forever. He helped get the figures I would need to purchase a vehicle but also gave me the piece of mind that I was not locked in to buy just because we started the process. He's a genuine person who wants to make the car buying process as easy and painless as possible. Thanks for making me want to step into a car dealership again. More
Dead battery saved me I went down to the dealership to look at a ram long horn truck. My dad just got one and is raving about it so I figured what the heck, my lease is up I went down to the dealership to look at a ram long horn truck. My dad just got one and is raving about it so I figured what the heck, my lease is up on the tundra so I might as well look. I head down and am put with an older guy named Curt. For what its worth, you'd think that he build the trucks given how much he knows about them. I tell him what I want and we head over to another lot where they keep the trucks and wouldn't you know, like other reviews said, the battery is dead. Curt apologizes profusely but happened to have the keys for a ram limited truck that was blocking the long horn. So we jump in the limited and drive it back to the dealership. It is absolutely awesome inside. I say hey curt, what is the difference between this and the long horn? In no time at all Curt explains that the price difference is really because the long horn has a lot more of the optional extras as standard and starts rattling them off. He doesn't list a single thing I'm going to use. By now I'm really digging this limited, its black on black, just the right amount of chrome, and the sexiest wheels I've ever seen on just about anything! I pull into the dealership and Curt runs inside to grab the jumper box and I start looking over the window sticker on the limited. It has everything I'm already used to from my tundra and a bunch of new things I think I might actually use. Curt comes back out with the jumper and I tell him not to bother and shut the truck off. I can see that he kind of deflates for a second thinking he lost a sale. I look at the truck again, turning the key over in my hand and finally I tell him I'll take it. We fill out all the paperwork and I have Curt show me the price breakdown on the limited and the long horn side by side, I know I'm making a better decision and every question I have, he has an answer for. I went in wanting a really awesome looking truck. I left with a better looking truck with everything I could want in it, spent thousands less, and met a really cool off-roading older dude. 10/10 would recommend. More
