To our readers: This customer was looking for a very low cost vehicle and decided to purchase one of our older & high mileage (1999 with 138k) vehicles which are clearly marked & sold “as-is” with no warranty. The vehicle was inspected by our service technicians, passed state safety inspection, and qualified under state guidelines/laws for vehicles sold “as-is”. The vehicle was test driven by several customers without problems leading up to actual sale. Even though the vehicle was sold as-is and absolved our dealership of any liabilities after the sale, our General Manager still offered to diagnose the problem. However the offer had to be rescinded upon the customers threat of violence to employees at the dealership. Ultimately the customer had to be instructed by local law enforcement not to return to our store. Customer satisfaction is important to our dealership but so is employee safety. We successfully assist thousands of customers a year with the purchase of new and quality pre-owned vehicles, but sometimes situations occur and then escalate beyond our control. Gene, You guys are full of crap. I didnt threaten anyone. Your sales team is a joke. They called the police cause they knew they sold me a hunk of junk and knew it. Thats why there was no emissions done on the car. Local law enforcement told me your claim of threats was a joke, and I offered to stay away from your crooked operation there. Its ok though cause what goes around, comes around. By the way; I like how you are selling my trade in for alot more than I paid for this car. You guys made out really good on that deal. Its cool, like I said what goes around... By the way, that wasnt a threat. Since you guys seem to get that kind of thing confussed. You are already aware of what actions I have taken against your dealership. Car buyers beware, Dont buy their talk. They only care about your money. Save yourself the trouble, and go elsewhere for your automotive needs.
