Sandy Sansing BMW told me I needed a new windshield to fix a Driver Assistance issue, which would not be covered under warranty. They quoted me an estimate at over $3,100. I took the car to BMW of Mobile fix a Driver Assistance issue, which would not be covered under warranty. They quoted me an estimate at over $3,100. I took the car to BMW of Mobile 3 days after picking it up from their dealership. The issue was resolved in 1 hour by recalibrating the KAFAS camera. In addition to this, they refused to acknowledge the existence of an active third party warranty. I was told I personally needed to contact that company and get them to cover the cost of the windshield if I didnt want to pay the full cost. Needless to say, I will not be returning here. More

I can understand a business' desire to hire mentally challenged persons because we are benevolent in caring for those less fortunate. Sadly, hiring a challenged person as a service writer does not seem challenged persons because we are benevolent in caring for those less fortunate. Charging for warranty work (on my wife's car) when one lacks the metal facilities to read and understand these complex things like a car bought from this dealership has a warranty is not acceptable. Worse, the Service Manager person just does not care, refusing to even speak to me much less do anything. I finally had to go to the owner, Mr Sansing for a resolution. More

I told the service writer that I live in Fort Walton Beach (1 Hour Drive each way) The intent was to replace a broken spring in the shift, selector, covered by factory extended warranty. By the time I made it home, five hours had passed. The dealership had diagnosed the car confirmed that the spring needed replacing under warranty. But couldn’t do any work on the cars they didn’t have any parts in stock. Why have me drive an hour each way knowing that they’re not gonna fix the car. Now I have to reschedule another time and probably waste at least another five hours to get to work that should’ve been done, or at least scheduled when they had the parts. Their communication was extremely poor — I had to constantly follow up to receive any updates. Overall, the attitude towards customers comes across as indifferent and unprofessional. It’s disappointing, especially since I was actively shopping for a new vehicle from one of their locations before this experience. One being that the system computer was saying that brake service was due despite that we had completed that service on the previous encounter and so I wanted it cleared. Got my vehicle back and it was not cleared. Communication was not clear from the dealerships side and “suggested” services were an unreasonable rate. More
