Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever received. First, I went to Sandy Sanding Chevrolet and negotiated a deal on a new truck that was located in Boaz, AL. When I went in the next morning to sign the paperwork, the salesmen said the Boaz dealership sold the truck we had agreed to buy. But, the salesmen at Sansing said they had another truck to substitute in, and it only had 300 miles on it. Something didn’t feel right, so I left. The next day, I looked at the Boaz dealership’s website and they still had the truck we wanted and it was on sale. For whatever reason the salesmen at Sansing were not being honest when they told me the Boaz dealership sold the truck we wanted. But we bought the truck from Boaz and they installed a lift kit and bigger tires before delivering it to us a couple days later. Then 7 months later we had an error code come up on the dash, so I took it to Sansing because they’re the closest dealer me. After they looked at the truck, the service people called to say the Boaz dealership voided my warranty when they lifted the truck, and Sansing wanted approx. $200.00 for looking at it. I took my truck from them and called Chevy of Boaz. As usual, they were very helpful, and sent a driver from Boaz, AL to get my truck, in Foley, bring it to their dealership, service the truck, and then return it to me. And they honored the warranty, and they gave me a loaner truck while they had mine. My advise is to run from the deceptive/deceitful practices of Sansing and buy your trucks from Chevy of Boaz. More

I have given this review some thought for about a week. I wish to be fair but honest in all reviews I make. I was asked to provide an email address in addition to my phone number “for extra communication purposes” which I didn’t question. Long story short, over the next two days I received several notifications via both text and email which were not helpful in updating me on the status of my vehicle. These notifications at one pointed prompted me to pay $500 for a part, no other information given. When I called I was told the service rep would call me before the end of day and it was effectively implied that I should stop calling. I never did receive that call. On the third day I called anyway even though I was concerned that I was being labeled for wanting to speak to someone. I was finally told the vehicle would be ready that day. Perhaps these vague “notifications” are adequate for some customers (read “younger”) but, as with any other business entity, this dealership needs to learn how to communicate with all customers regardless of who they are. Just because I am of the era where people prefer to speak with an actual human being shouldn’t mean that I am a pariah. In person I was treated with respect. But during the service experience I effectively dealt with nothing more than a computer and I was never informed that was the only way that I would get ANY information about my vehicle. Thats a bit ridiculous. More
