They run them through the shop, do minimum fluid changes and cosmetic clean up, and ignore any other issues that they know will arise once the vehicle leaves the dealership. You will be out a fortune because of problems they know exist, yet do not repair. Over priced compared to most dealerships on the Gulf Coast. The worst service manger (Mitch) I have ever had to work with. Completely unprofessional, rude and talks down to you with an attitude. Not sure why the GM of Southern allows these things to take place. More

Well that's what happened this evening at Southern Chevrolet in Foley. They expected us to walk in after finding the car we wanted and pay the price they had put down on all the paperwork. Just sign and drive without ever discussing the price, wanted us to believe that they already factored everything into it already. I have never heard of such BS in my life. When I said all right, You sell cars, I sell Real Estate, I know it's a number game so let's play the game they tried to act offended, and told us we could walk out, and that's just what we did. More
Bought a cheap vehicle. No disclosure. Car is a death trap. Southern advertise a price on the windshield and internet. The price matches until you go to buy. It states online this is sale price no other fees but taxes. Lie number 1. This car has been looked over by our service people. That's lie 2. Bought in winter, says a/c works. Lie 3. Felt cold in December. Of course. April comes and notify sales manager (again) that I was mislead about price. Oh wow, free oil change. Tech brings me into service bay to tell me that they changed oil but would not drive this vehicle. " It's completely rusted out". Told him I bought it from them a few months ago. He said " This took years". I said "that figures" , he said "Yes it does". Granted, it's a 2 thousand dollar car, but to be useless after a few months? I would not recommend Southern Chevrolet to an enemy, much less a friend. More

I was going to help my daughter buy a new car so I asked her to go and pick out one and get a price with her trading hers in. Since I work out of town I needed her to do the leg work.
