By far, Ben Hughett and his manager Alex provided the most comprehensive and positive purchasing experience. Prior to my visit, I met with 3 other dealers of 2 other brands. Beginning to think I wasn't going to be comfortable no matter where I purchase, my mother-in-law recommended I visit Sansone Hyundai, which was very convenient to my home in Staten Island, NY. When I arrived, I was greeted immidately and amicably. I explained my needs to Ben who recommended the Sonata. They took my Mercedes trade in without hassel and gave me the lowest price of any of the other dealerships, all without prompting! And, the car was in stock, in the color I wanted. I am extremely happy with my purchase and would recommend anyone in the market to visit Sansone prior to making a decision. More

I had an appointment to have my 2007 Sonata serviced at Sansone on 10/21/11. While waiting for my car, I walked over to the show room to look around and was greeted by Michael Odierno who introduced me to Sansone on 10/21/11. I loved my 2007 Sonata so I had been thinking about getting a new 2012 Sonata which I found that day thanks to Michael being so patient and helpful, he spent so much time with me! It took a while to get everything I wanted but Michael, Alex and Michael in finance worked with me until I was completely satisfied. We were looking for a new car 1 month ago, our 1st choice was an Elantra GLS. After reading the great reviews for Sansone Hyundai, we got a quote over the phone we liked, we were told our choice of color was was an Elantra GLS. So we made a SPECIAL TRIP after work through RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC from NYC (we live in Queens NY) thinking we were going to buy the car that evening. We entered the showroom & was greeted by the manager (Jim?). We mentioned the name of the person we dealt with over phone and detailed him on the quote we got. He told us the Elantra GLS was NOT IN STOCK, only the limited was available. He apologized (not sincere) & suggested we consider the limited. Then he asked his sales guy Mike to help us b/c he had another sale to close. Again, Mike tried to sell us the limited & when that didn't work, he said he would check when more stock would arrive. He returned to say our color choice was due to arrive in Sept. but the cost was higher b/c it came with certain options=add ons. How is this an option when I cannot refuse this OPTION??? It's like ordering a plain pizza but forced to take the meat lovers supreme b/c that's just part of the package!!! Why don't I just leave my purse WIDE OPEN & say please feel free to take as much money as you desire!!! Next we were told, "In order to secure the color you want, you will need to put a deposit." What so I can drive all the way back to NJ & pull teeth to get my deposit back. As we were leaving Jim sees us out & placates us once again & BOWS to us, WTF!! How does he know BOWING won't offend us! Realize that buyers have options too so we ended up getting a 2012 Altima 2 days later which we are ecstatic about!!!!! SEE YA More

THIS WAS MY SECOND EXPERIENCE WITH SANSONE HYUNDAI. EVERYONE THERE IS SO PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY. MY SALESPERSON WAS BEN HUGHETT BOTH TIMES. I HAD CALLED BEN IN MID AUGUST TO LET HIM KNOW THAT I HAD EVERYONE THERE IS SO PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY. MY SALESPERSON WAS BEN HUGHETT BOTH TIMES. I HAD CALLED BEN IN MID AUGUST TO LET HIM KNOW THAT I HAD AN ACCIDENT WITH MY NEWLY PURCHASED 2011 SONATA AND IT WAS TOTALED. I NEEDED TO COME IN AND BUY ANOTHER SONATA OF WHICH I LOVED. I ASKED FOR A 2012. I TOLD HIM THE COLOR AND EVERYTHING I WANTED IN IT AND WHAT DAY I WOULD STOP BY. WHEN I GOT THERE WITH MY SON THERE WAS MY CAR CLEANED AND READY TO GO. BEN JUST MADE ME SO HAPPY BECAUSE I WAS STILL VERY UPSET AFTER THE ACCIDENT AND LOSING THE 2011 SONATO THAT I LOVED. ALL IN ALL MY 2012 IS PERFECT. I LOVE IT AS WELL. Peter approached my family and I outside the showroom. He listened to the type of car I was looking for. He found that there were none available for sale on the lot bc the few that were there were already bo listened to the type of car I was looking for. After being happy with the ride he went to the floor manager to find out when they would be getting more in. He found out 3 were coming in 2 weeks later straight from the manufacturing plant in Korea. There was one in the color I wanted as well as the package that I wanted. Doing this helped secure Peter a sale. I had gone to a different dealer after this and they were rude. They also had 1 car in stock but without the package I wanted and in a different color. Knowing that Sansone was getting the exact car I wanted in two weeks had us go back the next day with a down payment. Peter really listened and although sometimes his jokes or stories are a little crude and inappropriate I am very happy that I have the car I wanted. All because Peter did a little research for me! I had 2 experiences with this dealership, the 1st one they were super nice and friendly, i had an online quote from them and they said they will honor it with no problem, i was hesitant about the trim so they were super nice and friendly, i had an online quote from them and they said they will honor it with no problem, i was hesitant about the trim so I left to think about it, I then tried to reach them by phone to tell them my color preference and schedule an appointment to pay a deposit or finalize the sale if they have it in stock, i probably left more than 10 messages to the sales person and the manager and never got a call back from them. A week after unsuccessful attempts to reach the i had to drive all the way there since i couldn't reach anybody by phone, i went under impression everything is agreed on and i was ready to pay my deposit just to find that they raised the price on me by $3500, yes $3500 in an Elantra GLS that they quoted me $17990 for it a week earlier, now they want to sell the same car for $21500 because no one has the car in stock!! The weired thing is they were so rude about it and their justification was that they have to make more money since no one has the car, i explained the previous quote and that nothing had changed from the time they quoted me the price till today but they said that their commission will be much less if they sell the car for the quoted price!!! They also said that it's their business to change the price and it's my business to take it or leave it!! oh forgot to say that i this was my conversation with manager who is suppose to be the most professional person in the building, when i insisted to know why do i have to pay that much money after already sealing the deal they just ended the conversation, walked away from me and the manager waived to the sales person with his hand like he doesn't care and he should let me go. I already got the price matched from a different dealer and definatly not going back again. More

I went with my fiance to buy a certified pre owned car and the sales person Peter was very friendly and tried to help as much as possible but when it came to finance the whole thing went down in flames. and the sales person Peter was very friendly and tried to help as much as possible but when it came to finance the whole thing went down in flames. We were told we were approved and that we would be leaving with the vehicle the same day and we were given one monthly payment all the way until finance when the monthly payment miraculously went up an extra 30 dollars a month with no guarantee of being approved or guarantee that the monthly payment is staying that way.... The worst part of the entire experience was the general sales manager... He was rude and very unprofessional. I wouldnt recommend this company to anyone who has a brain because these people are out to take everything you work hard for. Again, as far as the sales person he was very nice and shouldnt in any way be penalized but the general manager was terrible. More
