Not what I expected Well I was in the market to purchase a vehicle (Expedition EL) from the dealer happen to live quite far from the dealer. I went on several different s Well I was in the market to purchase a vehicle (Expedition EL) from the dealer happen to live quite far from the dealer. I went on several different sites to compare the vehicles pictures, prices, and the length it has been advertised for. All the information seemed to have added up to almost the same so it made it easier to confirm this with the sales person. I explained my situation to the sales person and hoped that they would be considerate of the questions and concerns I had regarding the vehicle. It seemed to go smoothly at first, but then I kept on having to wait for the sales person to get back to me on numerous occasions. I also was recommended that I text/call him directly if I needed anything. At this point I started to feel like I wasn't a priority to the sales person, most likely because I was dealing through technology and not face-to-face. I wanted to get a final price on the vehicle and try to see if there was any wiggle room to get some deal off of the asking price. I even went ahead and filled out their credit application for (SSN and all) to get the process moving more swiftly. I offered the idea of a trade and that seemed to have halted any further progress. I sent over pictures, VIN and other information regarding my possible trade but got nowhere. Now I am annoyed with the time and effort wasted on my end and feel like things have been exhausted for the sales person. In the end I gave the salesperson a number (price) I would like to be at to purchase the vehicle, ignoring my trade, and was "kindly" said goodbye to. The sales person conducted minimal verbal communication and did most of it through text. I did NOT enjoy dealing with him and the way the call system works. I can never reach anyone when I call there because there is a message taken. I really liked the way this vehicle looked in the photos and description and was willing to drive approximately 680 miles to conduct business with this dealer. All that was left was a test drive and making the customer feel valued. (I am currently looking for a Chevrolet Suburban now.) More
