If I could put ten stars, I would. I traveled down to Gainesville, FL, to help my son buy his first car. My time schedule was super tight, just three days. Looking at other dealerships in Gainesville and Ocala, Sante Fe Ford was the only one offering the cars we could afford. Besides, we had a very good experience with them when we purchased Chrysler NewYorker some 13 years ago, so we decided to go with them this time as well. The car we chose to go with had some issues with the engine at one moment during the test drive. Aside from that, the car was great; my son absolutely loved it. We still decided to proceed with buying it but asked to fix the problem before closing the deal the next day. Sean McCauley from the Sales Department, who worked with us, made his best efforts to accommodate the expedited car service for us. Sean helped us with every step of the process, including auto insurance and a two-year warranty for the car the next day. Unfortunately, one day turned out to be insufficient time to resolve the issue with the engine, and the problem persisted. We were worried and concerned, as I already left the town and my son had to handle the problem alone. We called Sean and explained the situation. Sean and Dave from the Finance Department worked internally to arrange additional car service at Santa Fe Ford. This time it took five days. The car is driving well now and has no problems. My son is super happy and enjoys his car very much. I would like to express my respect and gratitude for exceptional customer and professional service at Santa Fe Ford, and personally to thank Sean McCauley for his unbending patience and moral integrity, commitment to excellence, and willingness to go above and beyond to meet clients' needs and expectations. BUYER BEWARE ! ! I recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership. I should have left after the first red flag. But I wanted that specific car so I continued. A ! Immediately afterwards the engine started knocking. I took it to a different dealership for repair. Turns out the car needed a new engine before I bought it. An entire engine.Santa Fe tried to cover up the knocking sound with an oil additive. When I brought this to the VPs attention he stated they don't use additives. Once he finally looked at the "inspection " report he started reading Amazon online reviews about the additive thus proving my point about the additive covering up noisy engines.When I called the VP, Mr. Waitcus, to discuss it, he was incredibly rude the whole time. Talking over me every chance he could. He was Very misogynistic, condescending, deceitful and rude. When I expressed that I felt like I got scammed, He started violently screaming and verbally abusing me until I had to hang up. They never did an actual inspection on the vehicle. Just flipped it and sold it. So buyer beware ! You'll likely have to spends thousands on repairs and be treated in the worst possible way if you complain. This is not a reputable dealer at all. This is a step below a buy here pay here.I have bought more reliable cars off of Facebook. Save your money, sanity and time. Go elsewhere! More

What a difference 5 years makes, they went from great customer service to it sucks to be you. Won't be back and wouldn't recommend ever again.
