It did not feel like there was any sense of urgency to get my car inspected, repaired and back to me. The price estimates were sloppy, confusing and I don't think matched the final bill. I feel like BMW in general and SM BMW have been declining in quality and service for twenty years. I’m on my fifth Beemer and I think it will be my last. The cars are just not high quality anymore. They feel in quality and service for twenty years. I’m on my fifth Beemer and I think it will be my last. The cars are just not high quality anymore. They feel cheap. My X3e gets 11 miles on a charge. 11 miles. Feel like I’ve been swindled. And the service department at SM just wants to rip you off for as much money as possible. $265 “diagnostic fee” to tell me a button doesn’t work. $882 to repair a button you can buy on eBay for $50 and install yourself. I just came away from the place feeling down on BMW, a brand I have so enjoyed over the years because they were the Ultimate Driving Machine. Now it just feels like a rip-off. So long BMW! More

At my previous service center, Sherman Oaks, I did not encounter a cost with Uber. It also wasn't immediately disclosed to me until I received an invoice at pickup. They kindly removed it as it should have been disclosed. And I will say, $15 flat rate is reasonable, but it was just surprising seeing the differences between two service centers. I was however impressed by the video message I received on the status of my vehicle. Really unexpected, but appreciated. And the turnaround time was very quick. More
