Our sales associate was John Graus, and he really went above and beyond what we had expected. My family and I were on a long road trip vacation, and we stopped in Siesta Key for about a week. We had been contemplating buying a new Outback for about 6 months now. After driving about 17 hours in our current Outback, we decided it might be nice to replace our 150k mile Outback with a new one for our drive home. We started texting back and forth with John, and after about 5 days of chatting we decided to head in for a test drive. Because of all of the back-and-forth texting, the dealership knew what we were looking for in terms of price, trade-in value, and overall budget. They were also aware that we didn’t want to spend a bunch of time at the dealership while on vacation. John had everything setup for us so that the process was very quick. The only slow part was on me. What can I say; I’m indecisive sometimes. On top of being a great sales associate, John even helped us setup our crossbars and transfer all of our vacation stuff from our old Outback to the new one. Totally didn’t expect that level of service. The team at Sarasota Subaru was great. This is now our fourth Subaru. We’ve been to good dealerships and bad ones in the past. Because of John’s and his manager Marcus’ professionalism and “can-do” attitudes, I’d put this dealership ahead of our hometown dealership in Ohio. Sarasota Subaru has been very fair in all of my transactions with them. The service department is reliable and fast. While not the least expensive, I trust they will repair my car properly. The only thing that frustrates me is they do not answer the phone, nor do they answer texts that they send you. Unless you are physically in front of the service department, dont bother trying to contact them. This is by design, to make sure you bring your car in so they can start on it right away before you have a chance to change your mind. More
