I went to this dealership for a GMC Yukon Denali XL. I purchased the vehicle in late October but intentionally waited to submit a review until after I had experience with their service team. The salesman (George) was friendly and very helpful without being pushy. He took the time to talk about the vehicle and show us different options. While common among luxury/foreign dealers, domestic dealers either don't or are hesitant to allow a customer to test drive a car without a salesperson in the car. Jim Salerno allowed me to take the car home and "live" with it overnight. This occurred during the October blizzard. Needless to say, the SUV performed well and sold itself. Having leased/owned various "tiers" of cars over the course of my driving life, I have come to appreciate and value the "ownership" experience. Despite being closer to another GMC dealer and equidistant to another, I went with Jim Salerno because they were more accomodating and took the time to talk about my families needs. I have had two service visits so far and feel good knowing that the "dealer" experience will continue to be positive throughout my ownership of this vehicle. George was great at the onset, during the transaction and took the time to answer questions after the sale. All the sales people seem friendly but having worked with George, I would highly recommend him if you are in the market for a GMC vehicle. More

I'm sure the rest of the sales staff is good, but when you walk in ask for George. You will not be disappointed. I visited the dealership about 4 months before we bought the car. Our lease was ending and I was looking for a replacement to my Volvo SUV. In my experience when I tell the salesmen I'm buying in 4 months the sales person runs away... worried about their quota this month not some guy kicking tires. But not George, he spent 45 minutes with me answering questions and taking me on a test drive. A few months later I returned with my wife and over the course of 2 more visits we picked out the features that my wife wanted in the new car. During all of these meetings George was patient and always willing to offer his insight on the truck. We received a very fair price and Joe Borden was able to get us the truck we wanted. Joe also treated us very well. Making sure that we received any discounts that were available and making sure we understood everything about the purchase. Between George and Joe, my wife and I are extremely happy with our purchase. More

I visited this dealership entirely on a wim 3 weeks ago. I had the most exhausting story to tell as I was upside down in my lease and I didn't think anyone would want to listen, let alone help me. Scott Emory approached me as I was looking at a used car, when I didn't even feel like speaking to anyone. I had just received "not-so-good" news on my current lease from another dealer and I was not in a good mood at all. He made me feel so welcome. I didn't feel pressured whatsoever and that made me want to open up to him! He could not have been nicer and more friendly. Honestly, car salesman have a rep to only care about making a sale and I found it so surreal that I didn't see this in Scott. As the dealership closed, I had Joe Borden approach me and basically tell me that they were going to do anything in their power to help me. I couldn't believe it. I have never in my life had as great an experience as I have had at this dealership. I had so many people jump in to try to help me...Jonathan Weiner, Joe Borden, AJ Frasca and of course Scott Emory. Scott sat with me for hours!!, fully knowing I may not purchase a car, having NO expectations. He explained so many things to me. These people have serviced my Pontiac for fours years since date of purchase and have always been most fair and accommodating. Service has been promt and done right the first time. Sales people, ie. George and associates, have always taken time to make my visit pleasant while I waited and have worked up numbers on trade in/new pruchase even when likelihood of sale at the time of visit was not great. Recent visit (Jan. 25) was an all around good experience. I would recommend these folks and would consider buying my next car here even though it is something of a trip to this dealer. More

We arrived at the used car side of the dealership to see a GMC Acadia which turned out was actually sold by a new car salesman earlier that day. Despite the internal communication issue regarding the status of the car, Scott and his sales manager proceeded to to find us another Acadia with almost the exact same specifications we were looking for (and it was my wife's first color choice as a bonus) within a week of our initial visit. After purchase and in dealing with the finance and service to take care of some minor cosmetic and replacement type issues - Scott Emory clearly went above and beyond to make sure that all of our needs were taken care of, all of our issues were resolved to our satisfaction and made sure everything was clearly and completely explained to my wife every time she was at the dealership. I would definitely recommend Scott Emory to anyone that is in the market for a GMC Acadia or anything that's on their used car lot (or even if it isn't, maybe they'll find it for you!). We were completely satisfied with Scott's service and with many choices available to potential consumers out there, Scott is a one in a million type person that will genuinely work for you to make sure all your expectations are exceeded. George did not try to change our mind about the vehicle we wanted, but rather searched to accomodate us. When the car arrived, we received a phone call to ask us to come in & see if the car met with our approval, without any pressure. Jonathan handled the transaction efficiently & in a timely manner. We did not have to call out insurance company, it was all handled by Jonathan. Another good experience. More
