I honestly don't know where to start, this dealership & all of the employees are absolutely amazing. I would give 100 stars if I could. I came in to test drive a 2020 TLX that I had found on the website, all of the employees are absolutely amazing. I would give 100 stars if I could. I came in to test drive a 2020 TLX that I had found on the website, Nick G. had greeted us in the parking lot with a firm handshake & a nice conversation about my boyfriends miata. We went inside where we met Dan, the manager, got some water & after about 5-10 minutes Nick had the keys for the test drive. He went through every SINGLE button and feature the car had one by one & if he didn't know what something did, we found out together. I loved that. There was a chip in the windshield that was pointed out & i was assured that it would be taken care of. During the test drive, we got to know him & he's a fellow 90s JDM person, so I was already like yup, I'd buy a car from him. After the test drive, he showed us the lounge & we got some tea / hot cocoa & then sat down to talk numbers. He wasn't pushy at all, very honest & asked all the right questions. Dan came back over to see how things were going, let me know the windshield would be replaced free of charge & gave me some fatherly advice about boosting my credit since I've always paid cash for my cars. I let them know we were going to look around more & go to Honda Fort Myers to check out some cars as well. They were very understanding & said its great to habe options. Honda was a god awful experience (as someone from NYC, my gut told me to run as soon as i walked through those doors & met the salesman there) & my boyfriend & I were back at Scanlon Acura within an hour an a half. We were greeted with a smile like we were friends, not customers. We got to sit down with Grant, the finance manager & he is one of the nicest guys I've ever met, also has a very firm handshake. (Him & Dan give major dad energy). He sat and explained everything, we went over every option step by step & I explained that my credit was bad so if I didn't get the loan after the initial down payment, I'd just pay the car off in full. I even called my dad & spoke with him & Grant understood that my dad's advice was a big influence for me. By this time it was going on 8pm, so we all shook hands & since I didn't have a car to get back to dealership the next day, Nick offered to pick me & my grandmother up the next day (on his day off) to take us to the bank to get the down payment & take me to the dealership afterwards. Friday came & Nick did exactly that, picked us up, took us to the bank & waited -even through some issues- dropped my grandmother at home (she's 93 & is smitten with him LOL) & took me back to the dealership. When I saw Dan, he smiled and greeted me with "hey trouble" like my uncles used to do, which made me happy. After having 3 cups of really good hot cocoa from the lounge, I sat with Grant again & went to finalize everything. He got me a better rate & monthly payment than previously stated (with the warranties included) & was just a delight to see again. After signing everything, I gave them all a hug. They deserved it. I never in my life thought buying a car from a dealership would be this easy & this much of a delightful experience. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to buy a car & they have made a forever customer with me & even my boyfriend. I also told my dad to buy from this place cause that's just how great they are. Plus you get free car washes for life. Overall an 100/10 experience. More
The team at Scanlon Acura sets the bar high for other dealerships when it comes to the overall car buying experience. Never in the past 25 years have I had a car buying experience as easy and as pleasura dealerships when it comes to the overall car buying experience. Never in the past 25 years have I had a car buying experience as easy and as pleasurable as this one. I worked with the Scanlon team on the sale and financing remotely and drove 2.5hrs to efficiently finalize the deal and pickup the vehicle to drive home that evening. I left Scanlon Acura an extremely happy customer. Everyone on the team that was involved along the way deserves a huge thank you. Jeremiah Dickerson - Internet Sales, Mike Fendley - Sales Consultant, Dan Clifford - Sales Manager, and Grant LaFrinier - Business Manager. It was a pleasure to do business with everyone involved. Thank you! More
Purchased an older 2005 Porsche Boxster and the experience was "sub-par." While I thought I received a decent deal, they did not disclose all issues and refused to honor what they promised / "warr experience was "sub-par." While I thought I received a decent deal, they did not disclose all issues and refused to honor what they promised / "warrantied". Flew down to FL from NJ based on email / phone conversation and trusted their "brand name" of being a Acura / Lexus dealer but they are nothing more than a "let's-make-a-quick-bucks" dealer. Their argument was "oh, this is a 18 year old car, blah blah" which I fully recognized. I did not make a single comment / fuss about the following items, as I expected these type of issues from an older car: 1. 21 error codes (I have these documented) and various scratches 2. Foams from vents which costs over $4K to replace the evaporator box – AC / heater will stop working soon as the vent door inside the car will have holes (those foams are “gone”) and cannot divert hot / cold air anymore 3. Convertible top misalignment (not closing properly) + wire / string cut + missing parts 4. Convertible top rubber seal bent / not secured 5. Loose parts in the convertible stowage area 6. 10-13 year old tires plus tires installed on wrong rims (front tires on bigger real rims, vice versa) 7. Missing engine cover fasteners (3 out of 4) Again, The dealer’s argument was “this is a 18 year old car so we can’t do anything” while publishing on their website with so called Worryfree Warranty for 30 days (all these issues are discovered well before 30 days, basically day 1 or 2, or as I was driving home from the dealership): 1. A safety issue - windshield chip / crack (initially hard to see but discovered as I was driving out of the dealer parking lot and sent a picture immediately) – the dealer agreed to send me a check for $100 for the repair which is fair but never did. Plus a pro who tried to repair said this needs to be replace as there was a previous repair attempt to fill (or poorly repaired with residues inside the chip / crack) – recommended a replacement a. To be fair, I DID NOT get a Porsche OEM estimate which can exceed $1000, but got a generic estimate for around $525 2. The following items do not work: 1) stereo, 2) heated seats, 3) headlight washer, 4) homelink buttons (not a synch issue but the light does not flash at all) – this requires a visit to a Porsche dealer (the closest one around my house charges like $325 an hour, by the way) to perform an “infamous” vehicle handover procedure with Porsche specific software (i.e. PIWIS); to be fair, I tried to find indy shops (NOT A DEALER) with the software and lower rates (e.g., $150 – 200) My main issue for me is that there were not disclosed upfront – I understand the homelink button not working but heated seats can be checked by simply pushing a button which is next to an AC button (to see whether it even lights up). In addition, I have a written message agreeing to $100 reimbursement for the windshield repair which was subsequently ignored. I initially thought I found a great dealer (as we own Acura and consider getting a new Lexus / Acura) in Fort Myers area as we consider moving down to Tampa / Sarasota area (including Fort Myers / Cape Coral), however, deeply disappointed by basically zero communication / willingness to assist right after I signed the papers. At least I discovered these types of dealer issues earlier with a “cheaper Porsche” and not with a 70K SUV purchase. In short, the dealer may treat customers differently dependent on how much money you fork over to them (or whether you have signed the paper yet), but certainly did not get my vote. More

I needed a car that was trustworthy and within our budget. Mike worked with us to achieve our goal. Mike was friendly, not pushy, knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. But most importantly, on a big purchase like this, he made me, but more importantly he made my daughter feel important and treated us both with respect throughout the entire process. Well done Mike - I will be recommending you to friends and family. BTW - my daughter loves her car. More

I have never purchased a car over the phone or online, and considered driving 2.5 hours to pick up a car. The entire process was executed perfectly and beyond my expectations. The salesman John Gallman went above and beyond to make sure the transaction went smoothly and coordinated every aspect of the transaction perfectly from dealing with the manager to the finance office. One of the best car buying experiences I have had and I will definitely look at purchasing another car with them in the future. More
