Great overall experience purchasing a vehicle. I wish I was told I would have to wait for my leather to come in and I wish I had gotten a call back about it. Avoid this place at all costs. They will dangle a few dollars savings up front but this is to hide their arrogance and incompetence if you require any service after the sale – including warranty work! We will never again buy anything from Schaumburg Honda or any Rohrman dealership. Made on-line appointment to have the heater fixed in a new Honda Pilot because it only pushed cold air into the cabin in spite of the engine being completely warmed up. In spite of making an on-line appointment, Kelly the Service Advisor stated that he did not see my appointment and that he was too busy to fit me in that day. He continued by complaining that their systems never communicate and that this happens all the time. I showed him my on-line appointment confirmation and informed him that I took the day off of work to have this warranty work done. Although surly he finally agreed he would try to squeeze my SUV in. A couple of hours later he called and verified that the heater was only able to deliver ‘heated’ air at 28°F but explained that he considers this normal. He blamed it on that it was cold outside - imagine that, expecting a heater to work during cold weather? Brought it back a 2nd time for the same issue. This time they brought the vehicle into the heated shop so that they could claim the heater was functioning ‘normal’. They again blamed it on the weather being cold outside – sorry Rohrman Honda but I don’t need to use the heater while the vehicle is parked in a heated garage. Nothing but pathetic excuses to try avoid doing warranty work. The only humor was when leaving they gave me an envelope with someone else’s keys in it. Talking about complete incompetence! In order to avoid a negative BBB rating they claimed a district service rep would contact me but they needed to fill this position first. This was 16 months ago and still no response. Perhaps it takes a long time to hire good people these days. Since then I have sent emails and even certified US mail to his dealership - still no response. All the negative reviews about Rohrman Honda are true - they are incompetent, arrogant and unresponsive. Do not spend your hard-earned money at Rohrman Schaumburg Honda. More
