Greedy! Wanted to get front plates installed on my wife's Honda CR-V. They said they would charge about $75 with parts and labor. We went to a different Honda dealer and guess what!? No charge!! If this dealership wants to lose good customers for a lousy $75, they should think twice. They don't care 2015 Honda accord exl v6 60000 miles. Within the first 6 months, the car has needed the battery, blower motor, and starter replaced along with a conc 2015 Honda accord exl v6 60000 miles. Within the first 6 months, the car has needed the battery, blower motor, and starter replaced along with a concern I brought up with the transmission shifting hard into lower gears. These problems were brought to their attention less than 2 months into ownership and were noticed within the first few days I owned it but I wasn't familiar with the car to know for sure. When I first brought the car in, I had issues with the blower for the a/c being loud, failed starts, and the transmission issue. After they inspected my car I was given my first diagnosis. They said they were unable to duplicate any of my issues. The failed starting was likely due to my battery testing bad, the blower problem was due to a cabin filter I installed that was not "Honda brand" (which I told them I changed to try and remedy the problem it already had), and the transmission issue was because of dirty transmission fluid. They recommended I get a battery for $180 and a transmission fluid change for about $240. I declined these services because I was broke and wasn't completely confident in their diagnosis. I received a text from them shortly after asking me about my recent experience. I expressed my dissatisfaction about my concerns not being properly addressed and that I shouldn't have to buy a battery for a car I just bought (battery had to have been bad when they sold me the car). The service manager texted back telling me that he wants to make sure my concerns are taken care of and asked me to bring my car back. They gave me a loaner car and said they'd call me. A day passed and I received a call saying the blower motor needed to be changed (have to wait a couple days for the part to be ordered), and the transmission fluid is due for a first change but they couldn't duplicate that issue or the starting problem. I asked about the battery and he said it was not bad. A couple days later, I picked up my car after paying a $50 deductible for $100 part (extended service contract i purchased for about $2500). Again, i received a text asking me about my experience. I sent a reply stating that I was less confident about my car due to the contradicting diagnosis and have also had a couple more failed attempts at starting my car. Nobody responded back. At this point I came to the conclusion that I would have to wait for something to completely fail before it would get fixed so i gave up. I went in for my first motor oil change at 6 months and the service advisor was witness to the failed starting problem. It happened when he attempted to start the car. I ran up to him and said that was the problem I've been having. After inspection, I was told the starter is bad, battery is good, brakes are at 3mm and need changing. I authorized the starter to be replaced (another $50 deductible) and said I'd come back for the brakes. 6 hours waiting in the shop, I finally had my car back with a little piece of mind but upset that it needed a brake job already after all I've been through. About a week later I was getting ready to go to work and the car would not start at all. I ran late and had to take a cab to and from work. When I got home I had to get the car towed to their shop because I figured that the new starter was defective or something was not done right. The next morning I was informed that my battery was bad. I asked why they told me a week ago that my battery tested good by them and was lectured about surface charge. They don't even properly test batteries! After back and forth complaints between service and sales they replaced the battery for free. Brakes were now 5mm with this "inspection". Upon canceling my 5 year oil change package (have to wait up to 8 weeks for refund that I paid cash for) due to lack of confidence in them, I had a sales associate (who handled my refund) say he would look into my situation and help make it right. I just wanted to sever ties with this dealership and get cash back for oil change package to help with the financial burden this car has become but gained new hope speaking with sales associate. After a week, I called him back only to be offered a free oil change. After expressing my disappointment he referred me back to the service department manager. I didn't bother repeating my story and gave up. They don't seem to care about their customers and just wasted more of my time. More
