The whole experience was much easier and more pleasant than I had expected. Salesman John Irvine contacted me by phone before I came in to give me a price quote and explain how it was derived. The pricing and charges were all in keeping with what Consumer Reports said was appropriate. John was low-key, no-pressure throughout the entire experience and I enjoyed dealing with him. He was also very knowledgeable about the model I was interested in. In the end, I got a beautiful car for below the price that Consumer Reports/TrueCar said to expect. One point to be aware of: Schaumburg Honda routinely adds an accessories package to their deals, but you don't have to take it as is or at all. I wanted to swap one item for another and negotiated with John to get what I preferred and a lower price. I enjoyed dealing with John and would recommend him and Schaumburg Honda. More

We talked back and forth 2-3 times before I went into the dealership. I really felt like Boti was attentive to my needs and that he genuinely tried his best to work on my behalf when negotiating.
