The service department at this dealership will rip you off. They will try to upsell you on services that are not necessary. I took my 2022 540i in for an oil change and they wanted to charge me $150 to sc off. They will try to upsell you on services that are not necessary. I took my 2022 540i in for an oil change and they wanted to charge me $150 to scan the car for faults. That is basically plugging a scanner into the OBD port and reading what it says. Might take 10 minutes. Should be part of the overpriced oil change. After a 5-hour oil change I went to pick it up they tried to sell me new tires which were not needed (I had my set of winter tires on the car), then they tried to sell me new thrust arm bushings and flex disc for close to $3500. This car is barely 4 years old and only has 25,000 miles on it. I took it to an independent BMW repair shop the next day for a second opinion and it turns out that none of this work is necessary. Be careful with Schomp service department folks! They will try to scare you into some really expensive repairs that you don't need. They also take forever to do service work. What's the point of making an appointment if it's going to take all day anyway? More
I would give Schomp's Service department a zero if i could. I have a 2019 BMW X5. I spend absurd amounts of money to service this car. One year I spent $9000. I just brought it in again to the tune of $6000 however I did not have them do 2 of the recommended services. I brought the car to another shop and they said I didnt' even need one of the services of which Schomp was going to charge me $1300. In addition, they double charged me for something once, they lost my keys once and my car was not available for pick up when I arrived. I do not feel they are honest and they have horrible service. I love my X5 but I will be selling this car and will not buy another BMW. More

I came in the other day looking to purchase a 2026 X5. The salesman who assisted me was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and patient, and we were able to find exactly what I was looking for. He made the entire sales portion of the experience seamless. Unfortunately, my very positive experience was soured during the financing process. From where the salesman and I were sitting, I could hear who I can only assume was the sales manager yelling at an employee. This was undeniably unprofessional, and I was surprised to hear someone speak to their staff in that manner. I don’t typically leave reviews, but I ultimately left feeling uncomfortable after what had otherwise been an excellent experience with the salesman. Hopefully I simply visited on a day when tensions were unusually high, but it was still disappointing to witness behavior like that in a professional setting. More

Service: My car had an intermittent problem without any error codes - the most difficult to find and repair. I purchased a 2020 BMW X5 from Schomp BMW on 1/10/2026 while living over 1,000 miles out of state. Because I was buying remotely, I specifically confirmed with Nevada (salesperson) before purchase that th while living over 1,000 miles out of state. Because I was buying remotely, I specifically confirmed with Nevada (salesperson) before purchase that the vehicle had zero issues and that everything was fully functional. I was assured that it was. Immediately upon delivery, that turned out to be untrue. The vehicle’s Driver Assistance package is faulty and throws an error message, rendering multiple critical safety systems inoperable, including: Blind spot monitoring Lane departure warning Side collision system In addition to the safety failures, nearly half of the interior ambient lighting was not working upon arrival. To make matters worse, the vehicle was shipped with only one key, despite being promised a second key would be mailed to me. As of now, I still have not received it. I have made multiple attempts to resolve these issues and have contacted Nevada and Ally (sales manager). I was told that Darrick would would reach out, yet I have received no call, no follow-up, and no proposed solution. At this point, it feels like being ignored is the chosen response. This situation is extremely disappointing and reflects poorly on Schomp BMW’s integrity and post-sale customer service, especially for an out-of-state buyer who relied on their representations. I have tried to be reasonable and even offered a practical solution based on an independent mechanic’s assessment, but communication has stalled completely. I will update this review if and when a resolution is provided. Until then, I strongly recommend considering other dealerships if you are planning to purchase a vehicle, especially if buying remotely. More
