I bought a 2022 x5 45e brand new at Schomp BMW. It cost 80k. A year and a half later and with the vehicle only having 13k miles on it, the passenger seat electrical panel fell apart. You can see t It cost 80k. A year and a half later and with the vehicle only having 13k miles on it, the passenger seat electrical panel fell apart. You can see that the corner screw that holds the seat controls in place broke off. This screw is under an interior seat panel that isn't exposed. Schomp's service dept and manager (Kyle) told me that it isn't covered under warranty because their opinion is when the corner breaks off like that it's due to stress. They said to repair it would cost 1K. I have no idea how it broke, but the piece that broke is within the interior of the seat. The car has 13k miles on it and is 1.5 years old, So based on their opinion of what may or may not have broken it they don't have to honor a brand new vehicle's warranty. I would also love to add that I weigh 200lbs and my wife weighs 140 lbs. So if that's too much weight for their seat to handle, I would argue that it's a defective product. I would NEVER give this dealership another dime. Their ratings on here are vey low for a reason. More

Booked an appointment with this dealer on line to have a X7 fitted with snow tires. Having worked with this dealership many times over the years booking the appointment and obtaining the quote and appointme X7 fitted with snow tires. Having worked with this dealership many times over the years booking the appointment and obtaining the quote and appointment were easy. During the past 20+ years the service received here has always been very good. The appointment was set 2.5 weeks earlier, enough to give them time to secure the tires, and the price quoted was competitive. My experience at the dealership was much different this time. From the time I arrived at the dealer for the appointment on time until it was time to pay and depart was over 4 hours. The service team told me it would take a little more that’s 2 hours for them to complete the service so I decided to wait, my mistake. The invoiced price for tires and installation was $1000 more than the online quote. And many of the items were included in their original quote, of which the service writer should have known and read on their quote. After discussing this with the service writer it was adjusted down, but not to the original quote. The excuse was this was what his management was offering. He was apologetic but that was the best they could provide. On top of that the car was not washed or vacuumed, one would think that would be done during the 4+ hours. While there was plenty of time to walk the lot and shop for a future purchase, based on this experience there are other dealers where service might be better. Nice facility & nice people, unfortunately this experience was Very Disappointing! More
We had a our BMW serviced for tires, struts and wheels at Schomp BMW on 9-1-22. The experience was very frustrating due to lack of communication, missed commitments, pricing and not saving parts that we req Schomp BMW on 9-1-22. The experience was very frustrating due to lack of communication, missed commitments, pricing and not saving parts that we requested. We did come to a resolution after our insurance company negotiated some lower pricing. After ten months of a loud continual rattle we finally took the car to another BMW dealer where upon, they discovered one of the circular compression tool rings lodged around our right strut (wondering how dangerous this was!!!!!). I have been trying to have Kyle R the service manager, return may call to communicate the issue as well as to ask for compensation for my $650 + cost for the other dealer to correct Schomp's shoddy workmanship. On August 10 I was scheduled for an appointment at 1 PM and attempted to drop off my vehicle at 10 AM. I was greeted by an employee who looked up my appointment and said Mike Gibson was my service advisor and attempted to drop off my vehicle at 10 AM. I was greeted by an employee who looked up my appointment and said Mike Gibson was my service advisor and he would let him know that I had arrived. After a few minutes the greeter returned and said he would remind Mike that I was still waiting to discuss the issue with the vehicle since the rear differential was resealed back in March 2023. The Greeter then came back with an afterhours drop-off envelope and asked me to fill out the information and Mike would contact me later, I asked for Mike's email address so I could forward my warranty information and the Greeter returned and said Mike didn't have an email address. At this point I was very frustrated and walked to Mike's desk when he began waving his finger at me and said he was too busy to help me and to fill out the requested information. I told Mike I wanted to give him my warranty information (warranty was purchased at Schomp) because it doesn't seem to be recorded in your system and I am trying to save everybody time. Mike said that he didn't have time, he was helping 3 customers who were in the waiting room at which point I requested to talk to a Supervisor and Mike said that wasn't necessary. At this point I was upset and found 3 Supervisors in an office; one gentleman offered to help me but only after he was finished with another customer. After already waiting a considerable amount of time I needed to leave for a meeting and told the Supervisor that I was leaving and would find another BMW dealership to service my vehicle. More
On going problem for the last 3 years left a message for Michael a week ago and still haven’t heard back as well as Kyle Richmond left 8 messages since June 29th and nothing. This is the way they deal with Michael a week ago and still haven’t heard back as well as Kyle Richmond left 8 messages since June 29th and nothing. This is the way they deal with people by not responding or taking responsibility of the 💩 they sold. Long story short they put 21 inch wheels 285 325 that DO NOT GO ON THIS Vehicle that is causing suspension issues . Schomp has changed 3 times in 3 years STRUTS??? 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ and said they did t put these tires on. Well- previous owner has pics of car on Schomps showroom floor with these wheels. I’m not backing down- Schomp needs to do what’s right and I’ve given them more then plenty of opportunities to do what’s right be honest and they still can’t. Just like lying about the alignment 🤦🏼♀️ and finally admitting it. Calling the media and and lawyer - consumer fraud 🤷🏼♀️ lemon🤷🏼♀️ juice Ben though Schomp caused it not the manufacture- 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ stay away from Schomp if u need a reliable car or service cuz these guys can’t pick a phone for nothin 😂 More

TERRIBLE. the service department is not so bad, service was ok. (this in not a reflection of the service advisor or his work) what was the downhill side of it the service department is not so bad, service was ok. (this in not a reflection of the service advisor or his work) what was the downhill side of it was the loaner fleet and the service manager. They are taking me to court for their incompetence and LACK of accountability. I had my 2017 BMW x3 m-sport serviced there. during that time i had a Loaner, during my usage a crack had developed on the windshield. I had instructed them to use my insurance. that's where it all started. The loaner manager and service manager failed to communicate with my insurance (as they were only asking for a few documents for coverage, which was not provided by them) After them NOT providing any information, they send me papers stating i have to pay the amount of about 1,000 by the date that was listed. I had called my insurance, AND the dealership to try and figure out what was going on, and come to find out the DEALERSHIP was not cooperating with my insurance. they had told me that my insurance was NOT going to cover it and ceased involvement. Which was not true. They had made contact, and since Documents were NOT provided by BMW my insurance company Had deemed "excess" coverage until notified otherwise. which they were not. Finally after fighting the dealership to provide the documents to my insurance. my insurance had sent out the payment, and I in charge of the deductible. after MUTIPLE calls to the service manger about paying the deductible with NO return phone call, I ceased communication with them. they are now taking me to court for the FULL amount after accepting payment from my insurance company without any Communication from the dealership. I work for the Toyota Motor corporation, I know how things go, I'm not stupid. However Schomp BMW seems to be out for everyone's money with no remorse. I have a 60k vehicle that I paid cash for, I have no Qualms of paying a 500.00 bill for my deductible, but when the dealership that is requesting the money ISNT RESPONDING TO MY COMMUNICATION ATTEPMTS I cannot make the payment. All around just Terrible experience. That Dealership has gotten Well over 10k worth of repairs on my vehicle alone and yet they cant make a simple phone call, Text message and or email (which i have TOLD them multiple times that they are free to do so) I work down the street from BMW of Denver, And CHOSE to go out of my way to have Schomp BMW service my car. But since they are not Adequate enough to handle a Simple windshield claim. I would advise EVERYONE to be leery on Servicing their car there.... or at least obtaining a Loaner, As they might try to come after you for something so Elementary. To top it all off they CASHED the check from my insurance and STILL are coming after me for the FULL amount of the windshield. I find it funny as I attempted to Pay my side of the bill. with a simple request of negotiation on it due to the Hassle they put me through. xxxx poor customer Service on the Service managers end and the Loaner managers accountability.
