I've watched Jim & Amy Walen do business for the last 11 years, currently as owners of CDJR of Seattle and prior to that, Ford and Hyundai of Kirkland. I know many, many people who have bought, and continue years, currently as owners of CDJR of Seattle and prior to that, Ford and Hyundai of Kirkland. I know many, many people who have bought, and continue to buy cars from Jim & Amy, as have I, because we all know they do business straight up. They have integrity and are always going out of their way for their customers. Jim recently went out of his way for my daughter and me. She was taking her Jeep to college, 2,500 miles away and during the tune-up, they discovered that the Drive-Train had to be replaced. She was leaving for school in 12 days and had to be there soon after that. Panicked, I called Jim, who was with Amy on vacation on a beautiful beach. He asked me to call his service manager at CDJR, JJ, whom he said would get it done. That turned out to be a challenge as 2 of the parts weren't available at the factory. JJ jumped into action and called so many individual dealerships until he finally found them. He did such an incredible job, my daughter's Jeep was up and ready to go for her trip 3 days before it was promised. Thanks to the quick response by Jim Walen and his "Champion" Service Manager, JJ, my daughter and her mom were happy and they made me look good. NOW THAT'S GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Scott Becker More
They "lured" us on an 80 mile each way drive with two used vehicles that matched our needs and our price cap ($10,000). After a test drive of each we settled on one for them to run numbers. They gave used vehicles that matched our needs and our price cap ($10,000). After a test drive of each we settled on one for them to run numbers. They gave us an "offer" in which they low-balled our trade-in by $3000 under what we already had a firm offer from a small local dealer, overstated taxes and registration fees, included some bogus non-negotiable $400 anti-theft "extra VIN number" xxxxxxxx and a $3000 extended warranty we didn't request. Their bottom line number was for us to finance a principle amount twice ($19,000+) the $9600 listed "purchase price" of the vehicle. We immediately walked out. No way would I venture into that business ever again. More
The fleet manager, Terry Hogan is not using good business practices. He told us our deposit was refundable but when our circumstances changed on a custom order he refused to honor the refund. It is in disput practices. He told us our deposit was refundable but when our circumstances changed on a custom order he refused to honor the refund. It is in dispute. Now. Fair warning: DO NOT TRUST. More
I stopped in today with the intention of trading in two of my vehicles in order to purchase a Jeep Wrangler. I chose to go straight to financing before looking at any vehicles to see what I could qualify f of my vehicles in order to purchase a Jeep Wrangler. I chose to go straight to financing before looking at any vehicles to see what I could qualify for, in reference I make $80,000 a year and I was willing to have a car payment up to $650 per month, and while I do not have perfect credit it is a decent score. Unfortunately, I was told that my job was not a real job by the finance Manager. The direct quote was “Don’t worry about getting your paystub’s, I do not have the energy to deal with your situation because you do not have a real job.” I was in absolute shock that someone would tell me that my job was not a real job when I pay taxes, get pay stubs, work 50 hours a week, and do everything that everyone else with a “real jobs” do. I am a nanny, the state tax law states that I am a W-2 employee and categorized as a household employee. That means I was deemed an essential employee throughout this pandemic. I have not stopped working the entire pandemic only to be discriminated against because apparently my work is not real work. If you wouldn’t say that to a teacher do not say that to a nanny. We are real people, doing real jobs, making real money, paying real taxes. I’m curious if you would’ve said that to a male football coach, or a male teacher. Or was it simply because I am a woman that I was spoken to with such disrespect? More
Buying new vehicles is usually a challenging experience – compounded more by a pandemic. I have to say the team a CDJR of Seattle made the process easy and enjoyable. We called, they had the car waiting wh compounded more by a pandemic. I have to say the team a CDJR of Seattle made the process easy and enjoyable. We called, they had the car waiting when we arrive, we test drove (alone), got a feel for the car and bought it. Yes, there was a little negotiating because we traded in 2 cars. Price of the RAM truck was amazing and the trades-ins were fair from my perspective. Maybe I could have done better selling on my own, but then I would have paid higher sales tax and had the hassle of dealing with people during a pandemic testing my car. I contacted the new car manager August. He had everything ready. When I arrived, Aurelio gave me the keys and introduction to the truck. 5 minutes later, we were on the road. After my test drive I met the Owner, Jim Walen who helped make all the numbers work out. Ironically, I bought a car from Jim about 10 years ago. Great guy to work with and no pressure. We bought and the entire paperwork process to less than 1 hour (not bad for 2 trades and 1 new). Thanks Jim and the CJDR of Seattle team. Loving the new RAM truck – smoothest ride I ever had. I will be a repeat customer (again). More
Entire dash system went out on a van less than 3 years old. Brought it in to be replaced. Service dept called me to say they had the radio in and to schedule the appointment. I dropped my car off only t old. Brought it in to be replaced. Service dept called me to say they had the radio in and to schedule the appointment. I dropped my car off only to get a call that they did not have the part (they had shipped it back). They could not even be bothered to call me prior to me dropping my car off to tell me they could not do the work. Now I need a ride back to pick it up and I'll need to do it all over again when they get a new radio in. More

Went to this dealer after finding an ad for a vehicle I was interested on autotrader website, the ad showed a the vehicle ~8K below the msrp, howevet the sales people said they could not honor that since a was interested on autotrader website, the ad showed a the vehicle ~8K below the msrp, howevet the sales people said they could not honor that since autotrader had a problem and long history short they could just reduce it by 2K (which is was a mahufacturer incentive), this was more than what they had in their own website which was ~4K msrp. I would not recommend this dealer unless you want to waste your time trying to get you with a higher price than advertised. More
