Bait and Switch or Mistake?? Bait and Switch? They can put any price on an ad in order to generate leads, and then say it was a mistake because all their ads have disclaimers! Bait and Switch? They can put any price on an ad in order to generate leads, and then say it was a mistake because all their ads have disclaimers! Like others, we had a bad experience with this dealer. They had a price advertised on Auto Trader. Called the dealership to see if it was still available. Spent almost a week trying to purchase this vehicle for its advertised price. Excuse after excuse - wrong price, wrong vehicle, dont know where its at, but come in and we will give you a good deal! We were told that the advertising department made a mistake but to come in and get a good deal on something else. As the week went on, the story changed and I was told that the advertised price would be honored but the vehicle wasnt there yet. Saturday morning after I had already made arrangements to to get off work and drive the 3 hours, I was told not to come. They would not honor the advertised price. Yet the ad stayed up during this time. No response from management, NOTHING. They dont seem to care! I didn’t realize these kind of dealers were still around. More
