Classical switch and bait We went to Seeger based on their response to a TrueCar.com inquiry. Unfortunately, our experience was one of the worse we have had with car dealers ( We went to Seeger based on their response to a TrueCar.com inquiry. Unfortunately, our experience was one of the worse we have had with car dealers (and this in spite of relatively low expectations to start with). We left after our first visit to think things over and had a *written* quote for a 2017 model. We came back the next day to finalize things based on that quote as it seemed a pretty good deal, but suddenly the price went up by $3k. The explanation was there had been a misunderstanding and that the quoted price was for a 2016 model. Well, we had written proof that there was little to no room for a misunderstanding. I call this bait and switch and a clear sign of dishonest business practices. I will certainly never consider using Seeger for future purchases or service, and would recommend seeking other dealerships if you are in need of a new car. More
