I was driving a worn out Silverado and was indecisive on getting a new vehicle and starting over again, but knew it was time for a new one. Instead of being pushy and bullying me into a vehicle I couldn't afford like most dealerships, my sales person and sales advisor helped me find a vehicle I could afford. For that reason I had the best experience ever buying a vehicle. I was very pleased with the service and attention to detail that I received. I will always recommend Jay Reese and David Maus Chevrolet to anyone looking for a new vehicle. More
I had one of the best car buying experiences dealing with Ray Martinez and all of the other David Maus associates. I have purchase over 20 new cars over my lifetime and my experiences were usually from just Ray Martinez and all of the other David Maus associates. I have purchase over 20 new cars over my lifetime and my experiences were usually from just okay to terrible with a few exceptions. This was one of the better ones. I would recommend anyone interested in purchasing a Chevrolet to stop by the David Maus location in Sanford, Florida and ask for Ray Martinez. John Greenhalgh More
I went into David Maus to have the oil changed in my 2010 Chevrolet Camaro after dropping off the car at the service dept I walked the lot to look at the 2014 Malibu re-fresh they had a rather nice looking 1 Chevrolet Camaro after dropping off the car at the service dept I walked the lot to look at the 2014 Malibu re-fresh they had a rather nice looking 14 CRT Malibu 2LT after looking it over I proceeded back to the waiting area. As I was passing I meet up with Jason Hubbard we chatted a little about cars he said if you need anything or would like to have a look at a car on the lot let me know. I proceeded to sit back down in the waiting area about 5 minutes later I asked if I could look at the 14 CRT Malibu. I took it for a test drive after about 10 minutes I arrived back I was meet by Nick (sales guy) we chatted for a few minutes I handed him the keys and I went to get my car and head home. Before I left Jason asking how I liked the car (I said it was great and I would be back after the 1st of the year to purchase on) he gave me his card and said if I can run some numbers for you feel free to call I said thank you and off I went. On my drive home I decided to give Jason a call to see what kind of numbers he could do. Fast forward about 30 minutes later he gave me some real good numbers I said thank you I would be in touch. On Monday I received a follow up call with some even better numbers I said I will get back to you later in the day. Unfortunately I got tied up so I had to text him the following morning to tell him I would take the Malibu. To Jason's and my surprise when he arrived at the dealership in the morning the car had sold the evening before. Jason asked if I would like for him to search the area for one I said sure. He came back with a few choices unfortunately those dealerships would not do. I started to investigate myself and see what I could find. I found one that matched exactly what I wanted I gave Jason the Vin and dealership it was at. About 30 minutes later Jason said we can do a dealer trade if I wanted that Malibu I said go get it. Fast forward to around 4pm Jason said the car was on the way and what time could I come in I told him around 7am. Once I arrived I was meet by Jason and Nick (Nick ended up being my sales person) we went to look the car over to make sure it was what I wanted everything looked good. I went into finance it took all of 20 minutes after that Nick took me to the car we looked things over and I was off on the way home with a 2014 Chevrolet Malibu (and yes I kept the Camaro). My hats off to the David Maus staff including Jason and Nick for a great purchasing experience I will be back to purchase more in the future. More

I purchased a used 2011 Surburban from David Maus. Overall buying experience was exceptional. Where it went wrong is when I tried putting in my home address in the nav system the next day. No street address found and my home was built in 2009. I decided to visit the dealership to request an updated disk equal to the year of the vehicle. Used car mgr. T.R. tells me that the vehicle comes with the disk that was in it but I could probably find an updated disk on eBay. Not happy to say the least so I go to Melvin who helped me with the initial purchase. He was great and said he'd make sure I was taken care of. Next day, I get a voice mail from T.R. who tells me that the disk I have is indeed a 2011 update. He goes on to say that he could get me an updated disk from his parts department at a discount. Says the price is normally $375. Steamed I pull the disk out of the truck and it says to visit www.gmnavdisk.com for updates. I purchase a 2013 disk for $159 with no charge shipping. "Whatever it takes" is a great slogan but not good when the people at the front lines do not back it up. More

Needless to say, after speaking with Jay my "made up" mind was changed and I purchased a new vehicle with terms I absolutely couldn't pass up. Melvin McCune is the ruddiest most unprofessional stereotypical sales man I've ever seen. We purchased our vehicle late at night after the dealership was supposed to have closed. Since are car had just come off the truck it didn't have anything added by the dealer yet and we told them we didn't want any added protections or warranties. When they brought out the paperwork the price was obviously thousands over what it should have been, We told them no and they came back with a lower number saying they took them all off. It was only when we received the paperwork in the mail that we realized they still had one aftermarket warranty and the price of the car was more then it should have been since we used truecar. When we went to the dealer to talk to them about it (after waiting well over an hr.) Melvin McCune Introduced himself to us as 3rd in charge and was very rude and basically said too bad you singed the paper. When my wife asked "so your not going to do anything?" it set him off and he stood up and yelled that he would not and stormed off. As we then sat and talked with our sales man he then yelled at his sales man as if he was dog and demanded that he stop talking to us. We have now contacted Chevy and are hoping to resolve this issue. More
