I was sold a car with the promise of a 2-year, 100,000-mile dealer warranty, which gave me comfort and confidence in the purchase. That comfort quickly turned into regret when major issues arose just five months later, and I learned the warranty didn't cover anything. It was a false sales tactic. They push low-mileage cars at price points that seem fair, claiming they're "high quality," but it's just lipstick on a pig. When I asked about negotiating the price, they refused--insisting the car was worth it due to its supposed quality. That turned out to be far from the truth. The used car manager was young and inexperienced, but knew exactly how to deny my warranty claim, like he had done it many times before. I've now had to pay over $5,000 out of pocket for repairs. The salesman never followed up, the manager told me there was nothing he could do, and no one at the dealership showed any concern for my situation. I made multiple calls, sent numerous emails, and was completely ignored. Even the flash drive with my sales documents was corrupt, leaving me without access to key information. With online car sales at an all-time high, you'd expect competitive pricing and transparency--but at this dealership, it's all smoke and mirrors. And after all was said and done, the salesman had the nerve to email me asking for referrals, despite never helping me resolve a single issue. To make matters worse, I ran into the salesman, David, twice at the dealership--once when I brought the car in for service, and once while waiting in the service area for pickup. Both times, he deliberately avoided me, walking right past without even acknowledging me. I had no prior confrontation with him--I was simply confused and disappointed by the lack of professionalism and basic courtesy. I was left completely on my own, with no customer support, no accountability, and no resolution. Buyer beware: Do not trust the warranty claims, the pricing, or expect any help after the sale. I would never recommend Serpentini of Willoughby Hills to Anyone. More
This business has had our car for over 2 weeks. They have yet to do anything but drain the transmission fluid and confirm what we already knew was wrong with the vehicle. Their service department i They have yet to do anything but drain the transmission fluid and confirm what we already knew was wrong with the vehicle. Their service department is entirely inept, particularly Johnny Wallace, who is full of empty promises. He never returns phone calls, never finishes what he says he’s going to do, never gives an update on our car, even after continually assuring us we will be taken care of. His direct line goes to voicemail, but he answers when you call the dealership and ask for the service department. Not sure how he keeps his job when he never does anything. We were promised a loaner car MULTIPLE times, and have yet to receive one. The sales department are also liars, we were sold this car with the promise it had just had a brand new transmission installed. 6,000 miles later, our transmission is shot again and the service department is telling us they believe we were given a USED transmission. Just an absolute disgrace of a business, nobody there can ever give you a straight answer on anything. More

*Serpentini Chevrolet of Willoughby Hills update: We received the Jeep back yesterday (from last Thursday to Tuesday), and everything seems to be working well so far. Kyle from the service department an received the Jeep back yesterday (from last Thursday to Tuesday), and everything seems to be working well so far. Kyle from the service department and Ron, the sales manager, were very helpful. However, the store manager, whose name I can't recall, displayed an unfriendly attitude during our initial face-to-face meeting has now falsely accused me of using profanity towards her and Kyle, claiming that "I called up there and cussed them out." This incident never occurred; I had only one in-person conversation with her, during which she was quite unpleasant. I recognize that as a woman in a field dominated by men, she may feel the need to assert her authority. However, fabricating stories about a customer will not earn her the respect she desires. It is possible to be both assertive and empathetic in her position. Her harsh demeanor may have led her to confuse me with someone else who, according to her, “cussed her out” during a call. Alternatively, she might have felt frustrated because I contacted the BBB and shared my experiences online; thus, by making up such a falsified story, she's possibly attempting to undermine my credibility. Nonetheless, using such language is not a constructive way to resolve the issues we were facing, and it's not how I choose to conduct myself. In conclusion, the vehicle appears to be functioning well for the time being. More
