Do not be pressured to have expensive work done on your vehicle just because the Serra Chevrolet service advisor (Blanzy) tells you that your car will have catastrophic engine failure on your way home if y vehicle just because the Serra Chevrolet service advisor (Blanzy) tells you that your car will have catastrophic engine failure on your way home if you don't have it done immediately. Take your time, get other opinions, and decide on a fact-based plan. My original estimate was $500. Three "urgent" phone calls later, my total service department bill was $3700. Two mechanics I spoke with later told me there was no chance of engine failure and I overpaid by hundreds of dollars. I wish I could go back and take my own advice. I do not recommend Serra Chevrolet Service Department. More

We were helped right away and dealership was clean and looked organized. The actual purchasing of a vehicle, dealing with the sales person was good but waiting on the paperwork took way too long. The notebook used sign paper was done but it didn’t work for some reason so we had to sign paperwork twice. Mind you we were at the dealership in the morning when it opened but didn’t drive out with our vehicle till 3:30 in the afternoon. When we got home I realized one of the key fobs was the wrong one and had to drive back up to the dealership to exchange for the correct one. The extended warranty cost is ridiculous. More

Buyer beware. Purchased car bravo certified 2020 Traverse Aug 2025 81,203 miles and passing all points on certification. At approx 500 miles and 2 months after purchase Checked as passing month before on carbravo insp. Car bravo warrenty covered alternator. I covered battery. Recently in April, 2026 took car to another GM dealer regarding a noise that needed to be identified. Noise was fine but front and rear. Suspension issues Rod,Arm,Shock,Exhaust pipe,toe links all required immediate repair. Brakes also need replacement $5000 Quote by GM Tech, Tuffy, and a couple smaller shops and Serra after used car salesmen asked to bring it in. They found same issues. Quoted remainig work. I had already invested $2000 they declined to take any responsibility as warrenty had expire. I understand timing but as stated 2200 miles and a neligent car bravo certification is a safety and financial problem. That will need to be elevated pass the down played service I received on 6/12.
