Tommy was honest about the history of the car and that the tire light would be guaranteed to be fixed before purchase. Not only were the tires re-inflated for us, but they were resealed as well. We are grateful the service team did this so we didn't have a nasty surprise in a few months, thus souring our opinion of the dealership. Tommy was incredibly helpful, honest, and easy to work with. I am very happy with our purchase from Honda BMW of Champaign! More

Highly recommend Johnathan Kerr I am a difficult car shopper to say the least! The interior color (I have a blonde doggie who goes everywhere with me) and the ability to have a roof I am a difficult car shopper to say the least! The interior color (I have a blonde doggie who goes everywhere with me) and the ability to have a roof rack for kayaks were my two most important factors. I ask ALOT of questions, research the answers online, then come back with more follow up questions. I was very indecisive, and Johnathan was patient enough to work with me for almost 2 months. Greedy, insincere and dishonest The title kind of sums up just about any car salesman, but Honda of Champaign sums up EVERYONE that I have come into contact with. I had debated about The title kind of sums up just about any car salesman, but Honda of Champaign sums up EVERYONE that I have come into contact with. I had debated about writing this review though feel it’s my obligation to let anyone know who’s in the stressful position of buying a car. First and foremost, take ANY car on their lot to your own mechanic before purchasing. They buy most, if not all, of their vehicles through auctions and usually out of state. They “clean and shine” these cars and give you the bare minimum of what could be going on so that they can showcase a price that is unfair and quite a bit above fair market value. My vehicle was miraculously dropped a measly $250 overnight through their automated system that they have “no control over.” They claim they offer the best and lowest prices because of how the market is nowadays, which is garbage. They just have more barriers to prevent withholding information on vehicles than they have in the past and they claim the consumer has all these resources to verify and compare their prices against similar models. However, keep in mind it’s only based on year, mileage and previous history not the CONDITION! Turns out my vehicle was completely rusted under the body causing many repairs I had not anticipated and on top of that, Jonathan made $1300 above the fair market value, but who’s to say he didn’t make more than that based on their auction price of an unreliable car. Second, don’t expect them to care about your life and how dependent you are on a vehicle to make a living let alone be safe driving in. Three times I was promised a return call from my salesman, Jonathan and/or the “manager of the dealership” after purchasing and finding out what they refused to disclose. My car wouldn’t start the very next day and he wouldn’t even meet with me to see what could have been going on and refused to honor Illinois’ Used Car Disclosure Law. Never heard back from those cowards and I’m currently in the process of holding them accountable, at least in the state’s eyes if not my own. I sure hope when their daughters are driving, they don’t encounter xxxx like them but I guess that’s the perk of being a car salesman; they can pick and choose who’s going to make their lifestyles and salaries and whether they choose to sell a faulty vehicle. Lastly, I wouldn’t spend a single moment talking to any of them about a purchase you’d like to make. They waste your time when it’s already sensitive enough. Test drive, take to your own mechanic, do not negotiate with their standards and offer the LEAST amount you’d be willing to pay otherwise you will be taken advantage of. In my opinion, you’d be better off buying a car off Craigslist from a private seller who would be more likely to be fair on their price and honest about what work has been done. This dealership is a living nightmare and gives them their reputation they so unjustly try to prove wrong. Good luck to anyone who may do business with them. More
