am with several of these other reviews, if I could give ZERO stars I would. Seems like the only good reviews are for those that purchase NEW vehicles. Back in April 2022 I made a purchase of a 2018 Chevy M ZERO stars I would. Seems like the only good reviews are for those that purchase NEW vehicles. Back in April 2022 I made a purchase of a 2018 Chevy Malibu. I explained to the sales person that I am a single mom, and can't afford a lot but that my Jeep was killing me in gas. So I traded it in, and paid a $500 down payment. I begged to have TTL looped in with the car loan but they weren't able to finance me for that, not to mention my car payment went up almost $300 more than my Jeep payment so that was really frustrating. They assured me that I'd be able to refinance in 6 months to a year, if I paid on time each month. Less than 24 hours after my purchase, the car began having issues, I was driving with my son to visit family for Easter and the air conditioning stopped working. The dealership was closed, and when I contacted them that Monday they had me bring the car in. They gave me a loaner vehicle which I drove straight home. The next morning, the back tire was flat, and there was a nail in the tire. It's unlikely that the nail got there in my short drive from the dealership home. They told me I could take it to a discount tire to have it patched free. When they examined my car, the tire had previous faulty patchwork and could not be repaired again, so I had to drive the car with a spare until I could take it back to the dealership for a different loaner. This interfered with work as well as a strain on my home life because I was constantly going back and forth to the dealership. I was put in a different loaner, and my car was in the shop for about a week. When I got it back, the air compressor had been replaced. For the next three weeks the vehicle seemed to drive smoothly, but the next commute to visit family it began overheating and some of the electrical features were failing. I had to bring it back to the dealership again, and the repairs were going to be over $3000. My sales person said they could repair it, or try to get me financed into something different. The concern was that the car would likely continue to have issues. Basically a lemon, but Oklahoma doesn't have lemon laws on used vehicles. I opted to try another vehicle. I ended up liking a 2019 Hyundia Elantra. Once financing was being discussed the issue was that the Malibu hadn't been tagged yet and they wanted me to pay the $1175 to tag it, plus a $500 down payment, and then I'd have to pay for the tags on the Elantra at around $1200 as well as the $500 down that I just paid a month prior for the Chevy and the almost $600 first car payment I had just made. That's almost $4000 dropped in a 45 day time frame after explaining pretty adamantly that I'm a single mom and can't afford this kind of costs. The dealership agreed to take care of the $1175 in the tags for the Malibu, and they would also throw in $250 cash back for the Elantra when the title came. It took almost 5 months for me to receive my title in the mail, and two additional trips to the dealership to get new paper tags made. When I received my title in the mail, there was no $250 check in the mail so I called the dealership. I never got a response, was told I would be called back. Left voicemails, texted my sales rep and the HR rep, and emails to their company email address. It took three weeks for me to hear anything so I discussed it with the finance department when I went to the dealership for an oil change. I was told that they would send the check overnight that coming Monday. Another several weeks go by, and I still don't receive it. I then get a voicemail from the finance department telling me that the $250 went towards paying the tags on the Chevy, and that I would not be receiving anything. This is NOT what was discussed and I feel like they have done nothing be lie and put me in a bigger financial mess than I was already in. I am beyond frustrated with this entire situation and have no idea what to do anymore. So disappointed and ready to trade my vehicle in to a different dealership as soon as I get this car tagged, because I do not want to deal with them anymore. Glad that the customers that buy NEW vehicles are treated proper, but buying used shouldn't mean we get shafted and lied to. I am still spending money, and even MORE in the second vehicle because my new car payment is over $100 more than the Chevy even was, which was already way above my budget. More
