Customer Service I was referred to Classic BMW of Plano by one of your customers that is a close friend. She had me drive her X4 and it really made me consider a BMW. I was referred to Classic BMW of Plano by one of your customers that is a close friend. She had me drive her X4 and it really made me consider a BMW. I decided to give Classic a try. When I arrived at the lot no one came out to greet me while I looked over some of vehicles. I went inside to find someone but when I went inside, people just looked at me until a very distinguished man asked if I had been helped and introduced himself as Pedro Gutierrez. While we sit down, Pedro seemed relaxed and very comfortable talking about BMWs. Since I would be a first time buyer, I had concerns and told Pedro my situation and the concerns. Pedro answered my questions thoughtfully and with confidence. One concern was over maintenance. Pedro pulled up one of the cars and showed me the records and that there was very little maintenance. Pedro showed me another vehicle that I was interested in and it was much the same, little maintenance. I asked Pedro if buying a BMW was for me with my circumstances and he explained why that it was a good buy for me while putting me at ease. Pedro asked what I was looking at and rounded up the keys for test drives. Pedro pointed out the features on the car and how superb the engineering was on the car. I drove an X3 and an X5. I preferred the X3 but thought the X5 was larger. Pedro pointed out that there was only about two inches difference between the two. I measured it and he was correct. This was important because one of my concerns was about having enough room for my son’s wheelchair. I decided on the X3 but was still not sure the the wheelchair would fit so Pedro arranged for me to come back on Saturday morning with the chair and make sure it was a fit. Pedro also arranged to have my car appraised so he could have the paperwork ready for me to purchase the car. The wheelchair fit and I purchased the car. I think Classic BMW of Plano is so fortunate to have an Client Advisor like Pedro working for Classic. Pedro presented himself well, dressed nice but comfortable. Pedro demonstrated courtesy and patience dealing with me and my situation. I never felt pressured by Pedro, in fact he put me at ease. Pedro is very knowledgable about BMWs and promotes BMW for the quality it is. When I picked up the car for delivery, it was a driving rain storm, Pedro delivered the car to customer service so I did not have to get wet. Pedro very patiently demonstrated the cars features so I understood them and could operate the car on my own. Despite some repeated questions, Pedro took the time to explain again so I understood. This is customer service! I really enjoyed the buying experience because of Pedro and his professionalism. To Classic, Pedro maybe a Client Advisor but to me he became a friend and genuinely expressed interest in me and my son’s situation. Whoever hired Pedro did well! I also must commend Joe Verhey in the business office. Joe could tell I was trying to keep my payment low and had declined some optional coverage. Joe being perceptive and geared for customer service was able to lower my interest rate so some of the additional coverage was affordable. This was excellent customer service! Classic picked another professional in its hiring of Joe! I have heard of Classic BMW of Plano for years as having good service but I experienced it first hand. I really appreciate the professionalism and courtesy displayed by these gentlemen. The other Classic employees that I encountered did not disappoint either but I never knew their names.
