What can I say, I am blown away on professionalism and customer service I experienced at Sewell. I bought used (no warranty) Cadillac - great and professional buying experience with Mackenzie, no push, ho customer service I experienced at Sewell. Two weeks later went for maintenance. During the service, I found out that one of the shocks is leaking (pretty expensive part in Escalade). I immediately went to used car manager Kim, ready to start the war over defect that wasn't disclosed. Manager not only approved the repair right away but also make sure that it was done very quick and at $0 costs from me. THIS IS HOW customer service should look like. I will be coming back to Sewell! I bought an XT4 totally love my vehicle...However after the sale when I did not recieve my Title or my plates I was told lie after lie,oh we tried to contact you(ugh No!!) or oh we have the plates at our d the sale when I did not recieve my Title or my plates I was told lie after lie,oh we tried to contact you(ugh No!!) or oh we have the plates at our dealership...I tell them I will pick them up the next day...Drive all the way there... "Oh sorry we mailed them out!!! Etc. It has been 3 months since I bought my vehicle and I am still Waiting for my plates and my title!!!! Ask to speak to management"oh I will have them call you still waiting for that call too!!!! I will Never Buy Another Car From Sewell!!!!! More
I bought a CT5 on September 11. I had already visited two other dealership and was disappointment in my search until we arrived at Sewell. My last Cadillac!!! I’ve driven Cadillacs for 25 years with no plans of ever driving anything else. Until now. I have a 2015 SRX with 30k miles on it, here’s a list of everything (that I can remember) with no plans of ever driving anything else. Until now. I have a 2015 SRX with 30k miles on it, here’s a list of everything (that I can remember) that has gone wrong……. The transmission went out at 20k miles!! They fixed it but It’s still slam shifting around 20mph but they’re telling me that’s normal with this car. Default engineering. Too much horsepower for a lightweight vehicle. It literally feels like I leave the engine behind when I speed up. I brought it back after they fixed it and they said it had to relearn how I drive. So I gave it time to learn but when I brought it back they said “if they find anything wrong, their previous work/parts are only guaranteed for one year” which was up in November. They said they couldn’t find anything wrong with it even though it’s still doing the exact thing they supposedly fixed. The camshaft position valve had to be replaced on the intake side actuator(?) at 20k miles. The hidden compartment door motor failed at 20K miles. So now the engine light is back on again at 30k miles and they said it’s the camshaft again but this time on the exhaust side ($539 not covered under warranty or customer good will). INTERNAL FAILURE IN SOLENOID EXHAUST CAMSHAFT SOLENOID CIRCUIT BANK. The lock cylinder on the driver’s door failed so the physical key won’t unlock the car if the remote dies. Again, at 20k miles. Sewell employees were very nice as I was told “they have warrantees in place for a reason”. If I could give Cadillac zero stars I would. June 2021 More
