First off, as a cynic, pessimist and glass-is-half-empty guy, I was not looking forward to buying a used vehicle. After an initial failed attempt, Crystal Valenti (any relation?), Shaker Hyundai GM, seemed guy, I was not looking forward to buying a used vehicle. After an initial failed attempt, Crystal Valenti (any relation?), Shaker Hyundai GM, seemed to get the ball rolling for me and tasked Kyle with the job of reaching out to me. It's easy to see why Kyle Garvin is Employee of the Month. The guy is a professional salesperson - friendly, courteous, funny, personable and accommodating. Although I wasn't able to get my first choice of car, it was a turn of good luck. I couldn't see myself in any other car than the LOADED Tucson I ended up with and Kyle made it happen by meeting all of my many convoluted needs. Next month, however, I would like to nominate Jessica Deedon for Employee of the Month. The expected painful conversation with the 'finance' person was actually pleasant thanks to Jessica. She was able to put me at ease with her humor, straight forward approach and knowledge. The kicker was the finance rate - lower than the best rate I could locate by .65%?!?! Crazy!! not to mention her insight into the service department and help after the deal was done! Super unexpected and above and beyond. I'm not sure who gets to vote but count me as a yes for Jess!! Hopefully this is the last car I'll ever buy, but if not: I'm heading to Shakers Hyundai!! Too much? More
